I listened to Bob before, but never really GOT INTO him...until last night:|....i swear, somehting happened. I Love Bob.... Its just such awesome "feel good" music....like all worries are gone...which is what music's all about... good job Bob!!
how could you think marley is overrated anything good said about marley is probley true and if you thought he was overrater with loads of people listening to him, well there has to be a reason he is liked so much.
I love other bands such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, ect, more then Bob Marley, but I can understand how people can not like them. But is it really possible not to like Bob Marley?? When I saw the Rolling Stones last year, they did a pretty decent cover of Get Up Stand Up, just as a side note.
Someone should just bitch slap AnOriginalName Bob Marley is the one who Put Reggae on the chart and you are saying he doesnt have flow pfft
"A contract with Island is like a death certificate that's void, ain't nothing happening. It doesn't matter, I didn't have one anyways... I had one in the early days, but when I realised the trick that was being played on us, I rebel. When I realised that what they do, they sign all the artists that was a threat to Bob Marley and put them on the shelf so they can send the King ahead and crown the King, we were all victims and we were all sacrificed to make the Marley empire. We thank God for it, because the world would hear reggae music." --Max Romeo
marley spoke nothing but the truth. the dude got shot then played a show shortly after. he is the truth
the list of reggae artists that got shot is endless the list of reggae artists who spoke nothing but the truth is endless
all musicians are commodities bob marley is a commodity that babylon has been very successful in marketing [chris blackwell and rita marley thank you for making them rich]
“Alton was a bigger artist in Jamaica than Bob Marley", said Dennis Alcapone, another Jamaican recording artist working in Britain who often performed with Mr. Ellis. “Everybody, even Bob, would love if he could sing like Alton Ellis. All of them would sit back and listen to Alton because Alton was the king.”
