bluegrass mooosic

I dont know if they would be considered bluegrass, but I am trying to get as many people listening to them as possible. They are really good and they played at woodstock in '69. Look up Canned Heat, make sure it is the origional Canned Heat though.

I asked hubs about Umphrey's and he said "someone is being very picky... they have banjos". lol I have on clue if he's serious or not. HA!

 

i hope he is joking, cause umprhrey's has 2 guitarists, 1 keyboardist, 1 bassist, 1 dummer and 1 percussionist

 

My bluegrass collection extends as far as Hank Williams, The Stanley Brothers and Steve Earle and the Del McCroury Band.

 

lol @ umphreys. even tho they do play a range of music and have played bluegrassy shows before, wouldnt consider them bluegrass. SCI is my favoriteeee cornmeal is fun too, i shared some whiskey with the chick who plays the fiddle at the U of I halloween show, theyre cool people!

 

If you are on iTunes you should check out some of the bluegrass radio channels on there, I occasionally stick one one late at night when I'm having a "few" beers, yeehaah!
