    lol "WTF is this shit!?"

  3. If you tried to put garbage in a black hole, it would be so offended that it would expand exponentially in a matter of seconds, swallowing the planet whole.

Wouldn't it be more cost effective to find a way to just stop producing trash altogether? Just putting the trash in a black hole is the exact same thing as putting it in the dump, you're putting it somewhere where someone/something else has to deal with it and you don't have to look at it.

  5. I know they're using plasma arcs to decimate trash now. And I remember reading about some tornado thing this guy invented a while back...trash bounces off its sides really fast until it's pulverized into handfuls of dust. Dunno what became of that, though.

Even just blasting trash into the general emptiness of space is pretty impossible. The current propulsion systems we have don't allow for a big enough payload have it make any difference.

Well, they are still working on Rail guns as a source of propulsion which would of course be much more effective in space were we to say develop a waystation in the 0G region for collecting the rubbish then just launching it ala solar powered electromagnetic propulsion (done so the "kick" would merely push the waystation along in it's orbit.)

Of course we're sort of busy oppressing Nations and killing inocents which are already a stones throw from the stone age, but maybe we'll get to it someday.

Only a tippler engine theoretically does that.. a naked singularity.
Do'nt propose scattered theory as fact

    Are you peeps real?

A singularity could reduce our entire solar system to detritus in days.
A mass 3 to 6 times that of sol wanders in and reduces our solar system to atoms
    in a accretion disc

Why are you talking of rubbish?

The asteroid belt has 1000 thousand gigatons of garbage left over from formation of solar system..

All the garbage in history would fit on one hole on pallas . an asteroid in belt
