Of course the shittiest album by Sabbath was Never Say Die...every true Sabbath fan (just check out Sabbath's official forum to confirm this....) knows this !!! Any music by Sabbath that follows the crap/garbage on NSD is shitty music, but I doubt Tony and the gang will do that again in "13":sunny:. As for people not caring about Baker, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF PEOPLE DON'T CARE...esp some cr**ps on this forum/thread (no, I'm not flaming because the people here know who I'm on about, heheheheheheh)!! I, like all TRUE Sabbath fans will welcome "13" just like we welcomed "Black Sabbath"....stick that up yer anti-Sabbth a***s!!
Sabbath is way past it's heyday dude. If you acknowledge that any music by them after Never say day is shitty how can you expect this 13 album to be any better AND call me anti sabbath for not looking forward to some new album? I would like to love everything they release but I can't because they haven't released a song that rules likes their classics in at least one decade. It's a fact you even seem to acknowledge in above post. And I didn't talked shit about Ginger Baker, if you don't have any reading skills don't reply for pete's sake.
How are people supposed to keep up that level of good for more than four albums? Their record is exceptional. Of course, I guess classical composers manage. Wonder how.
I only have the first Sabbath album to be honest. It sounds great on these doomy rainy days we've been having a lot of recently here in England.Iommi is a killer guitarist even if he sounds a bit old because he's still pretty blues based - but I like that.
