Lamictal, Zyprexa. But she might take me off Zyprexa if I don't go for walks. Cause there is a high risk of diabetes
I recently read somewhere that marijuana stabilizes bipolar symptoms in a lot of people. However, I can't find that source currently. However, I did find this study. The study itself goes on about how bad mj is, but if you take a look at the comments, there are a lot of people who find mj effective. My take is that is probably an individual thing. Experiment, keep a journal. Find out for yourself.
There is a lot of shockingly bad advice in this thread but this is sensible... ^^ Are you serious? I'm very much against the overpresciption of various drugs and have a big problem with the way the pharmaceutical industry operates and how people are force fed things they don't need but this is very dumb, uninformed advice... Meds can be benificial- MJ, especially in the case of psychiatric disorders, can be extremely detrimental- get your shit straight.. If you're suffering from mental health issues pot often won't help you 'mellow out', you're talking out of your arse and offering potentially dangerous advice so STFU. Most people in the profession are openminded enough to see where and when substances can be benificial- she's not being a nazi but she's saying what she thinks is best for you- i.e. not abusing substances, that opens a whole other can of worms. One of my best friends suffers from bipolar and is currently locked away in a psychiatric hospital and has been on and off for the last 5 years- if you ask her she'll say weed doesn't cause her any problems at all, she craves it, wants it all the time and it does fucks with her even though she doesn't see it that way... No substance is harmless.
I am still not sure. Probe taking my meds and right after words getting blown out was not a good idea. I think smoking a bowl during the day, would be ok. And I mean not 5 bowls just a bowl.
