If God didn't create it it doesn't exist.

so why is it not "according to God I" or "according to Jesus - God II" or even "according to Holy Spirit/Ghost - God III" [for the christian-'trinitarians'] ?

nevermind the according to who's ...lets get the proof out then, I am listening. Please quote every verse that proves what you have as the Bible, is indeed the Word of God

true, then by the same virtue ..Jesus and Holy Spirit are also God's created, just like all other creations. How then can they be set next to the One God as equals or even calling them God ?

I don't know if you realize it but this thread is Bible questions not Quran questions. Perhaps you should start a thread like that in the Islam forum.

All Scripture is inspired of God, so why would there be a need for a more or less constant saying that what the Bible says is according to God when all of it is God's word?

Although there are many verses that say that, here is some things I believe prove the Bible is the word of God:

thats funny. you make a statement and rather than backing it up, direct me to the rules of this thread/forum! you should 'scroll up' and see who brought Quran into the Bible Questions ....

right, now i'll be careful not to comment there before you remind me of the rules of your sanctuary but will make a new thread and post a link (if that's not against your rules ?)

Okay, let's see. The first reference to Islam:
the title of the thread you cite is: "The Bible Led Me to Islam"
    The next reference to Islam:
But if you wish to just settle on the word Quran then yes after you had already brought Islam into the discussion and what is Islam without the Quran, I said this:
But Like I said, if you had not already brought Islam into the discussion, the Quran would not have been brought up, because the two are interconnected.

They are not MY rules, I just try to live by them. As for posting a link, you might as well, seeing as you already have posted a link to the subject of Islam in this thread.

OWB has a direct connection to god, as you talk with him you will soon find out that he believes he understands the mind of god and through multiple translations of the bible is able to explain it thoroughly to anyone who asks.

Of course this is only what he thinks. :coffee:

OWB does not have any more a direct connection to God than anyone who has a Bible.

I have studied the Bible and have an understanding of what it says and doesn't say but I know of many that know a lot more about the Bible than I do.

As for knowing the mind of God one can only be thankful that God has given us the Bible so we can know the mind of God.

Once again you have started just posting attacks on God and the Bible and now personal attacks. If you wish to continue to post here please clean it up. ;)

it was a thread which was discussing inconsistencies in the Bible, pretty much the same line i had taken in this thread ..but you dodge the questions you donot like and the ones you ought to respond you do so without any proof from the Bible ie chapter/verses ...everything is "the Bible says so" or sometimes not even quoting the Bible say it is so (as with authority)

    no it was this
i thought this was the Bible questions, why would you feel the need to bring Quran into it ? is that the only defence you got ? not this, but that ..!

see thats where you become emotional in your dealings. sure the title of the thread has got the word Islam in it, but that's only because its word-for-word the title of the booklet published by the author, im not him ..and i've only quoted

it's been posted on Christianity forum, specifically dealing with inconsistencies in the Bible and i invited comments from people like yourselves, and i still await

No it is a thread titled "The Bible Led Me to Islam" and the OP says very little about inconsistencies in the Bible.
Dodge questions? Maybe you aught to get your facts straight before you make accusations about people.

Still that is post 835 and that is after your post 833 which refers to the thread "The Bible Led Me to Islam" which would seem to bring Islam and the Quran into this thread before me.
Why? The simple fact is I didn't, as I've pointed out you did. :D

And please notice the thread title is "Bible questions" not "Questioning the Bible". ;)

"... seeing they see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand." (Matthew 13:13)

Emotional? What in the world are you talking about?

The title of the thread is what you make it and you made the title of the thread "The Bible Led Me to Islam"

There is nothing in the OP that says anything about it "specifically dealing with inconsistencies in the Bible".

I don't know what you are waiting for. I've already posted many times to that thread and dealt with half of the "booklet", showing how fallacious it is and at this point I'm still waiting for an answer to my last post there.

Perhaps you should get your facts straight.

i could start quoting if you wish ? but then its not questioning the bible thing (?)

i could re-quote every question you've dodged, but nevermind. suffice to see how convenience plays

your opinion (fear) and you're entitled to it

If you wish to question the Bible please check out one of the many threads that are for that purpose, several that I myself have started but that is not the purpose of this thread as I've stated plainly the purpose of this is for Bible questions not for questioning the Bible, if you do not like that, you do not have to post in this thread. :D

Here you might try this one:
