Imho, this is a similar argument to: The U.S government were complicit with regards to 9/11. It isn't saying they did it - it's still blaming them, though.
Imho, you can't really prove the U.S (and others) invaded Iraq/Afghanistan because of the petrodollar - but it's a clever way to put the blame on that with out sounding like a conspiracy theorist. It sounds right.

That and the fact that N Korea and china are so tight. And the fact that we cant do anything that china badically will react to cuz we are so far into debt with them. Cant forget that we get all our steel from them and if we piss them off we are screwed.
