You cannot change Lestat's maker and call it anything Anne Rice wrote. Also they cut the two senes which would make the movie make more sense.

For me it is Underworld...because it is a non stop action and a silence romance between the vampire and the warewolf...

Lost Boys - interesting interpretation of Peter Pan and funny
The Hunger - iconographic of the time it was made
    Bram Stoker's Dracula - I'm a sucker for Victoriana
Shadow of the Vampire - funny and well acted
    Vampire Circus - coolest

Black Sabbath. Any of the Christopher Lee films. The Fearless Vampire Killers was great for humour. I think it was Sharon Tate's last movie before meeting the Charles Manson family.

Old Dracula, with David Niven was funny too.

A Polish Vampire in Burbank was real cornball , but funny if you were loaded enough. :)

Worst movie I ever saw: Dracula vs Billy the Kid. An old John Carradine flick.

Back in the 60's and 70's, vampire movies got half their audience from young boys. You could see more cleavage in a vampire movie than you could anywhere else.
Blood, gore, and lots of bouncing boobies. :)

Lost Boys, Near Dark, Interview with a Vampire are all great vampire movies.

Check out "Razorblade Smile", a low budget U.K. movie from 1997. liked that. Maybe because Eileen Daly is gorgeous !

Two Words...COUNT YORGA!! Made in 1970. Eerrie settings/music. Very spooky, a little erotic, scary stuff. Great filming locations. Perfect vampire film. If you like vampire films, please try and see this! See the links below for more info. The 1st link contains spoilers (tells ending), so if you don't want to know, go to the 2nd link.

I'm a huge Blade fan, so I'll go with that. I like how they showed modern vampires, and the blood rave at the club was awesome.

Wow. I hated all three of those last posted about. It just goes to show. Art is very subjective.

So many vampire movies aren't horror movies.

30 days of night sticks in my mind as one of the better recent ones.

I saw 30 Days of Night and was underwhelmed. The premiss was good, but I wasn't sold on it in the end.
