You cannot change Lestat's maker and call it anything Anne Rice wrote. Also they cut the two senes which would make the movie make more sense.
From Dusk Til Dawn is my favourite(so far) no plot really just gore...its awesome i really like the Blade series, blade 3 wasnt as good as i had hoped but still good
For me it is Underworld...because it is a non stop action and a silence romance between the vampire and the warewolf... DVD CORNER AMAZING TV SHOWS
Lost Boys - interesting interpretation of Peter Pan and funny The Hunger - iconographic of the time it was made Bram Stoker's Dracula - I'm a sucker for Victoriana Shadow of the Vampire - funny and well acted Vampire Circus - coolest
Black Sabbath. Any of the Christopher Lee films. The Fearless Vampire Killers was great for humour. I think it was Sharon Tate's last movie before meeting the Charles Manson family. Old Dracula, with David Niven was funny too. A Polish Vampire in Burbank was real cornball , but funny if you were loaded enough. Worst movie I ever saw: Dracula vs Billy the Kid. An old John Carradine flick. Back in the 60's and 70's, vampire movies got half their audience from young boys. You could see more cleavage in a vampire movie than you could anywhere else. Blood, gore, and lots of bouncing boobies. x
Lost Boys, Near Dark, Interview with a Vampire are all great vampire movies. Check out "Razorblade Smile", a low budget U.K. movie from 1997. liked that. Maybe because Eileen Daly is gorgeous !
Two Words...COUNT YORGA!! Made in 1970. Eerrie settings/music. Very spooky, a little erotic, scary stuff. Great filming locations. Perfect vampire film. 1 lost boys (made me think vampires and california was cool) 2 Blood and Donuts ( great foreign flick) 3 Night Watch and Day Watch (picture matrix with vampires but good) 4 Near Dark (lance hendrickson is the man) 5 30 days of night (gave a fresh look to and old concept)
Dracula with bela lugosi, and the atmospheric vampire theme film mark of the vampire with bela lugosi.
I'm a huge Blade fan, so I'll go with that. I like how they showed modern vampires, and the blood rave at the club was awesome.
So many vampire movies aren't horror movies. 30 days of night sticks in my mind as one of the better recent ones.
I saw 30 Days of Night and was underwhelmed. The premiss was good, but I wasn't sold on it in the end.
