i give maynard his props but for me personally i like the guy from 5 finger death punch... ive gotten a lot of funny looks when i say that to people but like i said the question from the OP is really a matter of personal opinion... ive seen 5finger death punch 3 times live and it is very intense and hardcore when your right up front... ive never seen tool but would love to one day as that would basically cross my list of live shows off... i dont think you can judge someones vocals based off of an album so much as you can until you have seen them live either... anyone can sound good with a soundboard but live shows you the real talent behind a musician

I hate threads like this. Best vocalist, best guitarist.
Its impossible to pick, there are so many different styles of vocals and guitar, and drums and bass, you couldn't pick one from the other.
For example, who is the better vocalist, bruce dickinson or ozzy osbourne. Impossible to say, considering Ozzy has a completely different vocal style than Bruce does, and they both did amazing with the style they had.
