    "I'm a Golden God""

"I chose not to choose life, I chose something else"

    "Run Away!!!"

If you do not know where these came from, at least the last two... then you are cinematicly illiterate :)

Alec Baldwin's hilariously arrogant speech in Malice:

"Let me ask you, when you go into that chapel and get on your knees and pray to God that your wife doesn't miscarry or your mother doesn't bleed to death or your daughter doesn't die of acute, postoperative shock, who do you think you're really praying to? Now you read your bible and go to church and with any luck, you'll win the annual raffle. But if you're looking for God, he was in operating room 2 on the night in question and he doesn't like to be second-guessed. You want to know if I have a God complex? Let me tell you something: I am God."

I just saw the hours for the first time last night - great movie - one of the lines that stuck though was when meryl streep (clarissa) talks of how, as a young woman she woke up to a world of possibility and hope, ans she says something like

"I remember thinking, so, this is the beginning of happiness. This is where it starts. And, of course, there will always be more. It never occurred to me it wasn’t the beginning. It was happiness. It was the moment … right then.”

that line just made me cry and cry
