I'm disappointed,with 40 some odd posts to this question,and no body even mentioned probably the greatest film footage of a concert ever made.That would be the Led Zepplin film,The Song Remains Same.Having seen Led Zep in concert back in '75,I can say that if you never had the chance to see them live,it is well worth the time to watch that movie.
Flythevoyd, I didnt forget Song Remaines The Same!!!! It's more a rockamentary though. Where did you see Led Zepplin in "75"??? I'm also from Missery (MO) I saw them in St. Louis in "75" did you?
I like Bollywood musicals, in particular "Devdas" and "Lagaan", even though I didn't understand a single word. The kind of film musicals Hollywood used to make in the old days but has now forgotten. "Moulin Rogue" was pretty good as well.
I think Dancer in the Dark is one of the best musical films. I am addicted to this film. Maybe I am biased though........I own every Bjork album
ROCK 'N' ROLL CIRCUS! having reccently watched it, it's on the mind but definately one of the greatest music movies......also for true musicals hair rocks my world!

I watched so many of them and liked almoust all I've seen..... For example I read that not many people liked "Sound of music".....It's one of my favourite...the story is awesome....I don't like all songs, but "Edelweiss"....Or "My favourite things"....Last summer I were with my family in Austria and we were in the Tour of Sound of music...It was fantastic I love "Fiddler on the roof" - nice story and nice music, songs.... Very good musical "Singing in the rain".... Always if starts to rain I sing this song I love almoust all Loyds Webber musicals....Like "Cats"...or.. I like "Phantom of the Opera" only music, cause I haven't seen the musical...... "Chicago" was really nice musical I think that's all......!!!!!
