When government is allowed to be responsible for the needs of the citizens, I'd gladly give up my job to anyone who would like to assume the position of a provider, while I assume the position of being a dependent. Few less people would starve if they would begin to assume some responsibility for their selves.
I for some reason put republic, I meant to put Anarchy. Democracy is dangerous when the majority is made of bible thumping idiots.
Democracy is dangerous any time a simple majority can make the rules, and even more so when it only takes a simple majority of the elected politicians.
`i voted 4 theocracy because a government that was truly based on God and His principals would bring peace to our nation, morality to our homes, and equality to ALL our citizens. how ever since this will only happen AFTER the rapture & subsequent tribulation i vote 4 communism. i have visited a few communes & when done rite it is a gr8 way of life!!!
Choose what ever type government you like as long as you can continue to produce the luxuries demanded by those of us who refuse to become just another lemming. Todays perceived leaders are little more than good followers.
Theology. Now for those of you who are going to say, God doesn't exist, just don't. Kay. I know God exists, and if you don't, just pretend he does for a second. A government ruled by an all knowing, all powerful, all loving being. How could you possibly go wrong?
Responsible? for what? The best form of government is individual self government. Anything more than that is control.
In theory, communism is perfect. But human nature doesn't allow it. China, Laos, Cuba, Vietnam, and North Korea are the 5 main communist countries of the world today (as far as I can remember from studying communism). China government is a people's democratic dictatorship, a socialist state, and a single-party communist state. The People's Democratic Dictatorship allows China to stay partially communist. Laos is a single-party communist state and a socialist republic. The Socialist Republic portion of government allows Laos to stay partially communist. North Korea is a single-party communist state and a Juche socialist republic. The Juche socialist republic is what allows N. Korea to stay half communist. Vietnam is a socialist republic and a single party communist state. The socialist republic allows Vietnam to stay partially communist. Cuba is the only mostly pure communist country I know of and the only way that has worked is because of the strict limitations to what goes on in Cuba. I'm 14. I might be wrong. All i know for sure is, is that pretty much all communist countries have changed policy. If communism could work for once, go for it. Just not in America please. Have a peaceful day bro
I think if society coulda stayed the way it was when everyone lived in self governing tribes we would be much better off.

Well i'm a believer that sometimes government needs to step in and regulate people for things they can't seem to control themselves. I'm sure alot of you people saw michaels moores capatalism flick, its pretty hard to argue with that. American government seemed perfect at one time but is now turning out to be seriously flawed. If its seems too good to be true, it probably is.. Our government thinks we can print money endlessly with no consequence. The self governing conservative & liberatarian types seem like they would be totally satisfied in life as long as thier guns, bibles, and hummers (the things they like to pretend are rights) are kept intact, but they refuse to acknowledge that beyond their fantasy serious problems are emerging. Well I think we need more than just individual rights, I think we need a government thats willing to tackle the serious problems & has the capacity to do so.. Now I wouldn't support America turning into a china or russia.. it'd be nice if we could do better. Why is it that we cannot start from scratch, take everyones ideas, and form a better world? Interestingly I was looking in a dictionary from the early 1980's today, I found the definitions of liberal and conservative to be interesting considering the modern state of America. Liberal was - one who works towards progress or social change & conservative said - one who believes in maintaining the status quo and/or against social change.. Considering Americas problems I guess that makes sense as to why republicans are so unpopular right now even though the democrats are once again proving history to be correct and showing themselves equally incompetent..
And the dictionary definition of communism sounds wonderful too. Would you be supportive of a democratic form of government where the majority would set the rules? Would 51% be adequate to determine right from wrong? Perhaps the dictionary definition of "freedom" needs redefinition? How would you define "freedom" in modern, liberal terms?
