YOU BITCH KINDWOMAN!!! haha, just kidding you doll, you. I was going to go see them but they had sold out by the time I got a crew to go with me. That was the only show that the venue sold out all month too! Care to elaborate on some details for us sad souls who didn't make it? As for myself, Bob Dylan at the Roy Wiliins in March of 2004. My god what a show it was. I was expecting it to be him and a lone accoustic guitar, but he came out with a full on band and just rocked the fucking room. I was stone sober for the most part, but I was absolutely drunk on the Bobby D experience. I wanna see him live again so bad. He came out and did like 4 or 5 encore songs, it was awesome. He ended on Rainy Day Women, in which the crowd erupted in screams and smoke (of course) and that's when I finally got my buzz goin' on because of the doobs just being passed on down the line. Then he ended (ended) on Forever young done accousticly. I was tingling all the way home.
These two shows were just unreal. Simon and Garfunkel, 1983 Eagles, Hell Freezes Over tour Honorable mention: Neil Young, 1983 Buena Vista Social Club. Van Halen, Fair Warning tour
I have to say the best concert I ever saw was when I saw moe. in mattydale, NY last April. THe second night they played I was high on some GREAT lucy and they played tons of songs from wormwood, they played tamborine, and they ended the night with Rebubula! My favorite! the venue was so small (this littte skating rink!) and the energy was sky high! theres some personal stories that make that night better, but I won't get into that.
the acoustic planet tour from this summer was pretty sweet. bela fleck & the flecktones, yonder mountain, and keller williams! all 11 people on stage for an entire set! humandraydel

The best I have been to was Psycho le Cému(Japanese Rock band)'s 2004 Friday night concert at Project:A-Kon 15 in Dallas, TeXas. What I loved about the concert was not only that they sound extremly good when they are live, but their concerts are so fun. Since their music gets realy energetic they do Para-para on stage and at the concerts the fans do their para-para along with them and do all their moves. Occasionally DAISHI (vocalist) would keep jumping in the air and eventually we all caught on and jumped with him. So the fan interaction in their concerts is very high which adds to the fun. Also, they perform a skit in the middle of each concert. This concerts skit was the "Psycho Balls" skit (Making fun of Dragon Ball Z) in which they each had a Psycho Ball and were questing to find the other four. It was really funny.
I've been to so many great shows, its impossible to single any one out as the best. But looking through my ticket stubbs I came up with a list of 10 particularly memorable shows (in backwards chronological order). Ween 9/18/03, Dallas Phish 7/22/03, second of 3 nights at Deer Creek Phish 9/11/99, second night at the Gorge Phish 9/16/98, second night at Lemonwheel Fishbone and Primus 12/7/91, Dallas Frank Zappa 3/8/88, Pittsburgh Alice Cooper 1/27/88, Pittsburgh Iron Maiden 3/4/85, Dallas Deep Purple 1/25/85, Dallas Jethro Tull 10/16/82, Dallas
Well, I've seen Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings perform twice now, and both shows were magical. If you've never seen them live, I HIGHLY recommend it. Dave plays perfect solos, their voices blend so well together, I was just incredibly impressed with their performance. I had never seen Old Crow Medicine Show, but they were really a treat, especially since Dave played with them the entire set. At the encore, Gillian, Dave, & The Medicine Show all came out & blew away the audience with some kickin' tunes! (Let's not forget to mention that Dave is mighty fine to look at!!!)
