I fucking LOVE the interwebs when I'm baked. If you find you're getting paranoid on the net, just watch some porn. That should clear things up.

I spend a lot of my time on the internet when I get stoned. on here, listening to music, watching porn, or talking to people.

I saw this post while browsing Google, registered and here I am to give my two cents.

    To answer this guys/gals question,

You probably tend to analyze everything you come across. This may be a gift (might feel like a curse) of observation you have. And this intelligence draws connection to the very nature, of both the good and bad attributes of human existence. Hence seeing/understand this nature, you get the feeling of paranoia. I know, I've been stoned online and felt like I was going mental, it really is fucked up. The feeling of paranoia is a perfectly normal reaction. You most likely will have a feeling of a loss of control or helplessness. Here is what I can share with you that helped me out, when you feel this coming on.

    Advice,
Tell yourself to get off the computer, and go outside, and live.

Pot seems, at least for myself, to "ruin" my daily experiences, in what "I" appreciate within my relationships. The feelings and sensations seem, so imbalanced and unnatural. This is the main reason I quit smoking pot. (2nd time round and 8 years strong). I knew the paranoia feeling, when I was influenced in public (back in the 1990's), not so much tripped out if someone would notice me stoned, but as to the very nature of their human reactions/responses, seemed somehow over sensitized. Stoned online is a far more solitary and intellectual experience, however it can leave you with a feeling of being shut in, closed off, dead, lifeless etc.

So get off the computer, see a friend (who is hopefully sober) or go outside, and live. And congratulations, you are starting obtain a grand image in all that you know. Just get yourself a little personal control, and you'll feel better. Its is perfectly normal and useful to be observant, for yourself and for those you care about. Use it wisely (with dignity and integrity) and kindly (with care and respect), and remember to, GET THE FUCK OFF THE COMPUTER!

    seriously, it can help ;-)

    btw,
As some may have noticed, I am "not hip", and "I am", "cool" with that.

Wow cool! Thanks for the reply very helpful. Thanks everyone
else for the replies.... Sorry I couldn't come and follow through with my thread but I've been out for awhile!

But yeah like I said when I'm really high just certain things trigger paranoia. Like you guys said, I do over analyze things but I analyze things when I'm not stoned so I guess pot just puts that into overdrive and causes me paranoia... Well anyway I don't get "high" anymore because it's just too much for me to handle. Now if I use pot I will take 1 & 1/2 puffs just to get to a slightly elevated level (barely even noticable high). And man oh man do I enjoy myself and music! :D
