Heheh... reminds me of a nursing story: This male nursing student one of my instructors had was taking care of an elderly female patient who was considerably out of it. He was leaning over the bed to check something and she suddenly grabbed him by the head and tried to stick his face in her old-lady bits When I was in fundamentals, one of my classmates was caring for an older guy, who kept asking her for a sponge bath (he was totally capable of cleaning himself). She said no, and he told her that "Old Faithful" as he called it, needed attention. From then on, we all called her Old Faithful. Ironically, none of my patients ever got too inappropriate with me, but when I was taking care of my grandfather the last 3 weeks of his life, he kept asking me to get in the bed with him (he had dementia and had no idea who I was). It's just something you get used to I guess, at least with pts who aren't in their right mind. If they're mentally aware, that's a different story.
