i wish! really though, even the current style would count as playing the odds if you get down to it... no matter what the woman seems to be thinking, you don't really know what exactly she wants, so any routines are basically playing the odds, even if they are completely in your favor
i would assume the repulsive part is the fact that you know you are doing it... it's one thing to act naturally and pick up a woman, and a completely different thing to play the part of someone who is acting naturally to pick up a woman
True but, it does significantly raise the percentage. It's kinda wierd, you develop this strange social intuition and you can damn near predict the next move.
exactly... i'm not saying it's wrong or anything like that... but this is just further argument that you are in fact playing the odds. raising the percentage is exactly what you go for when playing the odds after all...
Yeah dude, I guess 'repulsive' is kind of a hot button. Universally the broads I know wouldn't be repulsed. But a few of my female friends are really smart broads, I mean like serious smart broads, and are just as in tune with 'reality' as you are. I don't know what you do. I reckon it has something to do with some splinter of psychology. In which case, you'd be right to say that most of us follow 'the method', just that we call it something completely different and don't cumpromise.
PUA books are mostly bullshit its all about giving you confidence to play the field alot and eventually getting some so you think it works. Tell me GQ if your so good tell us a killer pick up line (opener).
You think? I dunno man, more often than not shit works. What's the beef, what part of the model don't you think is acurate and doesn't work? Killer opener... hi. You don't need a super good opener if you have alpha characteristics. Also, depends on the situation and the HB status.
if you eventually get some, doesn't that mean it does work? i kind of thought that was the whole point... i'm not sure what GQ even stands for, but you are talking to hyphy, i'd bet money that he has the perfect pickup line for this or pretty much any other situation
so much of your method seems to be based on the fact that you are just naturally the type of guy women are attracted to... i think the point of such books is to help us losers out there...
Well, when I started off it was very much about the routines and the method. as i progressed it was less about the routines and more about body language and alpha characteristics. Naturals with women do everything on the method to a tee subconsciously.
so basically the idea is to emulate those people who are naturals until you become practiced enough that it's natural to you as well?
Certain parts. You don't want to be a carbon copy, you have to be congruent or else you can't have a real relationship with the women. The method is basically having alpha qualities and then going through the steps of attraction.
Hell no! The method was created for and created by nerds, lovable losers and lovable lonley. I was just trying to point out that the method is not created to change the personality of the pick up artist. It pulls out your "best self." It's definatley for those who need it.
so you're saying then that everyone has these alpha qualities and the method just helps show them then? that doesn't seem right though... i would imagine true alpha qualities would only be prevalent in a small minority of men, and only even appear at all in maybe a little more than half... so does everyone have what it takes, or are there exceptions for whom there is no hope in following your methods?
Not at all. Alpha qualities can be taught and learned. And yes, everyone has what it takes. For sure.
I'm not sure about all that. I'm sure there are some tips that can help good shy guys and all. And honestly, just go for it is really good advice. I think inaction is what hurts more peoples social interactions with women then anything. But I doubt you'd be qualified to help someone with like agoraphobia (social anxiety to the degree they can't function in public.) Of course those are extreme examples, but you catch my drift.
