Depending on one's beliefs, the antichrist is sitting in the White House. Politics and the US Government, have no business meddling in the sexuality of its citizens. It has no real right to tell women what they can and cannot do with their bodies; they have no real right to dictate to parents how to raise their children "right" - and by right, I mean the guidelines as laid out in the Old Testament more than the New. Religion should not the be the basis we govern our citizens under; your personal beliefs have no place in the government and one that mandates that church and state must be separate.

There is a convicted felon making crucial decisions for this country: Arrest him and put him in prison where he belongs to prove that no one is above the law.

He also then aired multiple clips of him stating that: "If I don't win this election, it's going to be 1929 all over again....."

"IF I lose this election, the markets are going to crash......go right down the tubes......"

Recall, also, how our "DGP" (the "Despicable Great Pumpkin") vowed not only to end the senseless war in Ukraine on his first day and office, as well as lower prices?

He won the election, and the markets were crashing anyway. Of course, he planned to make our economy fail from the beginning so that it would be easier for him to subjugate America and, as someone implied, hand us over to Putin. I don't know about anyone else but I knew that there was nothing he could do to lower the prices of the commodities he promised to lower because if he could - if he did - his RWA cronies wouldn't be getting richer and like he promised that he'd make them. All this bullshit with the tariffs and Americans should be asking, "Who the fuck is getting rich because he's doing this?" because someone is and a lot of someones are.

Congress is so fucking slow to act that by the time they get their shit together to throw him and his cronies out of office, fuck, they might as well stay there since it'll likely take them the next 2.5 years to find the grounds to not only impeach him but expel him and Vance from office because, duh, if we get Trump out of there, we'd be seriously remiss not to remove his puppet, too.

See, having this asswipe in office should send a message to all of the country's political parties to groom and select their best people to run for the office so that we do not wind up electing another felon. It takes a lot to change a Constitutional Amendment, but it needs to be changed so that no felons can run for the office. I always thought that the "qualifications" to be POTUS were... too wide open. Be a naturally born US citizen; be at least 35 years old. No mention of having to be politically qualified and, of course, no disqualification for being a convicted felon and opened the door for a fascist to take over America.

And Congress, along with the keepers of the Constitution are still sitting on their asses, trembling in fear to do something about him and the others he brought along to tear America apart and put democracy to death, not to mention trashing our global reputation with the inexplicable shit he's doing like talking about annexing Canada and Greenland... and why the fuck would we even want to do that? But that's probably a smokescreen to get everyone looking at this insanity while evil doings are afoot elsewhere...

So, the GOP needs to be dismantled and reconstructed to "cure" them from being Trump cultists; they, along with the Democratic Party, need to be reminded that those we elect to any office are there to serve and represent us - we the people of the United States. They work for us and not the other way around and they should not have "pet projects" that only serves their own interests and, importantly, they should be people who cannot be bought.

Well, hell, the world did not come to an end, nor did our country sink into the lowest depths, because an African-American male had been elected President!

The ONE problem I had with the Obama/Biden team was that they made us all feel TOO "complacent"; we all took their fine leadership too much for granted....it just seemed as though we KNEW were were in "safe keeping" with these two gentlemen at the helm of our nation.

When I think of what we once had....and what we have NOW.......Jesus Christ, talk about sinking into the lowest depths of utter chaos, distrust, and uncertainty.............

 

Yeah, Obama/Biden spoiled the shit out of us. Personally, I didn't think Obama would live long enough to finish the campaign given all the racist shit I'd been hearing in my neck of the woods. I remember Jesse Jackson's failed attempts to run for the office and I figured that I'd not live long enough to see a Black man (or a woman) become POTUS and when I watched the elections results, I cried to know that Barack Obama had done the impossible - and I lived to see it. Republicans have always talked shit about Democrats being too soft and all that bullshit when Democratic presidents have worked hard to undo a Republican counterpart's fuck ups when they held the office.

And then... we fucked up and elected Donald Trump as president... then we fucked up and did it again and after all the shit he did the first time. He's still trying to play the system so he can serve a third term as president by not running in 2028 but being Vance's running mate and then Vance resigns so that Trump automatically becomes president again.

Oh, fuck no. Twice is proving to be bad enough; how do you become president twice and beat your own records for being the worst president in the history of this country?

My mother continually worried about some deranged individual gunning down Obama; I, also, had the same nagging fear inside me.....thankfully, the worst we expected never happened.

Then, too, the hatemongers HATED the idea of a BLACK President's VP being WHITE (in other words, the " Black man's underling").......man, I can still remember so much of that crazy shit I heard, back then.

When Biden announced that he was dropping out of the race, THAT'S when I began to feel uneasy; my "gut feeling" was already telling me that this was the "lead in" to another four years under the "DGP" ("Deranged Great Pumpkin").

On a lighter note, being a dog lover, I still remember Mom and I laughing when Obama (having just won the second time around), making this brief statement:

"......before I begin my speech, I just have one word for my daughters: NO, we are NOT getting another dog!" (not surprisingly, the family DID get another pooch!)

Who, at that memorable moment in time, would even think of how far we would have sunk, many years later..........

 

The problem, as I see it, is that we have failed to... cultivate up and coming politicians who, after a bit of grooming, can not only run for the office but win it and hold it without all the tired-assed political bullshit that I've known and seen all of my life. We need Supreme Court justices who remember that their job is constitutional law and making sure that no one is trying to mess with it or finesse their way around it and for the own personal gain. We need Congresspeople who, again, are mindful that their job there isn't about them - it's about looking after our best interests first and foremost.

And we need a POTUS who isn't a criminal. The leader of the free world cannot be someone like the man holding the office now and a man whose whole purpose is to "make America great again" by enslaving anyone who isn't a favored RWA; the motherfuckers who have more money than they know what to do with always say that things are going to be tough but we can make it - and they know we're going to try to make it and they know that the more we try, the richer they get... including the asshole soiling the White House at the moment.

The moment the GOP resorted to dirty politics, our political system had one foot in the grave and Trump just shove it - along with the justice system - into the grave and is throwing dirt over it and telling us that the only word that matters is his... and this cannot be. It. Cannot. Be.

 

Too bad Congress lacks both balls and backbone; the Supreme Court, the Senate......all now nothing more than mockeries of justice, marble-halled playpens where childish tantrums, disrespect, and idiocy where greed and power are the Number One priorities........

 

The whole of the US Government got played by a consummate con man, as did the GOP. They both failed to learn from history and played their roles in repeating history. The man who could have put him behind bars for a very long time... decided to drop the case... so the convicted criminal could continue his run for office and while MAGA cultists were cheering this stupid fucking decision, the rest of the country was going, "What the fuck? In what version of hell does a convicted felon doesn't go to prison?" I wonder how much it cost him/Musk to buy off everyone who could have buried him under a prison but yeah money talks, bullshit walks...

 

..........seems like all the males in Congress and in the Senate were all castrated the day the "Degenerate Great Pumpkin" was elected for his second time in office.

Trump, we all know, has a QUITE lengthy record for having a fetish for firing people.

Oh, we did have a concept since he'd been letting us know that he was going to run again... while trying to act like he wasn't. He's worse this time around, making a mockery of democracy and paralyzing the other two parts of the system - Congress and SCOTUS - and doing it with impunity while alienating countries we've been friends and allies with for decades... so he can make all the RWAs richer while making the rest of us poorer.

Even the GOP is finally up in arms about this fool and his actions and I hope it's a sign that the system is gearing up to deal with his ass. He's not a wannabe dictator - he's actually behaving like one since he declared that he's above the law and can do whatever the fuck he wants. In the meantime, I'm still very damned bisexual.
