I can appreciate the71-year-old guy who learned how to suck cock with his long-time friend and for the first time because, earlier in his life, he made the mistake of not doing this with his friend when (a) they both had the chance and (b) they both had the need and for a whole lot of years, they quietly kept the regret inside of them until, one day, they learned that if you don't correct certain mistakes while you have the chance, well, if you have a chance to fix it and to learn from having made it in the first place, that puts you ahead of the game. I can appreciate that he can now understand things better than he could when he was younger and the confusion in his mind that said such things should never be done between men yet, um, see (a) and (b) above and the mistake they both made.

Sometimes, better late than never corrects a mistake that was made earlier. This doesn't work with politics and it's why trying to talk about sex/sexuality and politics in the same breath doesn't make a whole lot of sense because we can make mistakes with sex and sexuality, learn from them, and learn not to make them again but you make political mistakes and even if you manage to fix them, it's usually too late to make a difference against the impact the mistake created in the first place or, no - there's no putting the evil genii back in the bottle; what's done is done and now you have to live with it until, maybe one day, things get better.

Ah, but while you're waiting for political mistakes to rectify themselves, you can go have sex in the way your chosen sexuality calls for and the only person who's going to stop you from doing that is... yourself. Stopping yourself could be a mistake that you may not get a chance to learn from; it can be a mistake that you keep making because you really didn't learn anything from the first time you made the mistake - and found yourself wishing that you hadn't screwed the pooch or, yeah, missed the chance to do some screwing when (a) you had the chance and (b) you had the need.

My mother loved to say, "If you study long, you study wrong..." and it took me a lot of years to figure out what that meant and I'd learned the lesson of this when I studied long and hard for a test in school and while I didn't fail it, I didn't do as well with the test as I was capable of doing. I remember coming home and telling her that I understood why studying long was wrong and all she did was smile - and pointed out to me that it wasn't going to be a mistake that I was going to make again.

And I never did. I made a pact with myself to not be on my deathbed and thinking, "Damn, I should have done (add something here) when I had the chance..." and having that sure understanding that, quite soon, I will never have the chance to rectify whatever mistake I made and when I shouldn't have made it. And regardless to whatever political bullshit was going on. So, I ask again: Y'all gonna let some fucked up politicians fuck your life up and make you make mistakes that you knew you shouldn't have made... or are you gonna keep living your life and as you see fit and capable of doing?

Yeah, I'm sure they - and whoever 'they' are - wants us to keep believing that this annoying double standard doesn't include two men getting it on because if you're being perceived as being 100% heterosexual, why in the world would you tell someone that you love to be spanked and fucked in the ass when you spend all of your public time decrying such sexual acts?

Under the auspices of "all things being equal," if it's okay for the ladies to play with each other, it should be okay for the guys to do it and the only time it is "okay" is when we're young and having puberty kicking our ass and "experimenting" is okay as long as it stops as soon as possible but no later than the age of 18. We pitch a bitch about young men experimenting with sex with each other but, okay, as long as they become "pussy-only" and like the bible says all men should be.

Politicians, as we've all learned, cannot and should not ever be trusted and they sure as fuck have proven that we cannot believe them. They'd cheat on their wife in a heartbeat .and with a woman... or a man and, really, what the public doesn't know isn't going to hurt them. The double standard has never been the problem: That would be the hypocrisy that allowed the double standard to be created. After a while, you learn to roll your eyes whenever the double standard hypocrisy shows up and you keep right on handling your bizness and in the way you want and need to - as long as you're not being a hypocrite about it. You don't have to put your "dirty laundry" out for all to see but you should be honest about who and what you are and at all times. We just can't trust politicians or RWAs to do that because they believe that the rules we have to play by don't apply to them.

In the early 1970s, I was around a lot of men who, publicly, pretty much said that they'd kill a faggot who tried to have sex with them but privately? Whole different story and I saw then that if you can get enough people to believe the lie you're telling, the easier it is for you to get away with the truth and, yeah, if homey is protesting too much about cocksucking faggots, um, he might be one and as you'd be likely to find out at some point. This behavior used to appall me because, okay, I would neither confirm nor deny that I sucked dicks with Herman the other day but you'd never catch me on the corner and joining in the gay bashing that went on and as a matter of course. Or, some guys said it was okay for them to a blowjob from a guy but it wasn't okay for their woman to get her pussy eaten by her girlfriend and, in a lot of such situations, homey was pitching a bitch and getting attention focused on her... while he's in my living room with me dick-deep in his ass and moaning, "Fuck me, daddy, fuck me..."

The double standard is stupid. We know that it is. Even the people who invoke it knows that its stupid and we shouldn't do it or even keep it alive... but when you're about keeping up appearances so you can fool the people around you into thinking that you're something that you're not, the double standard still works well for this... even when you know whoever's invoking it is, in all likelihood, lying about some stuff.

In today's Daily News (New York) there is a political cartoon "Bramhall's World" showing Trump (robed as the late Pope Francis) placing a miter on his head.

He's mentally unstable and that's easy to see and... we're doing nothing. Or whatever we have planned is taking way too much time to implement. I've run into legit double standard bullshit that I've denounced and have tagged the person invoking it as clueless and even cowardly depending on which double standard is being presented. If you can do it and you think it's okay, then I can do it if I think it's okay. If you have to come up with some lame excuse why you can employ the double standard, I can use the one you gave me and invoke "if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander" and let's see how you react to that one.

At some point, you get tired of playing those games and you wish that other people would learn that lesson and stop invoking it.

On a related note..........

I have a a good friend in his 60s who manages the frozen foods/dairy section in a local supermarket, in West Virginia.

His area is almost totally pro-Trump, and he makes no bones about his strong dislike for a certain orange-headed dipstick when dealing with customers wearing "MAGA" caps.

When they complain about the high prices of eggs, he'll retort:

"Well, why not just write a letter to Trump? He said that he'd bring prices down on the day he took office!"

Then, he'll usually hit them with:

Well, YOU voted for him, now deal with it!"

He HAS noticed, however, that at least several of his pro-Trump customers no longer wear "MAGA" caps.........

 

Further:

The friend of mine whom I just mentioned in my previous post mentioned one "MAGA" customer (an older white male) who was talking to another customer, while on the checkout line:

"God really granted us a saviour who will make our country great again. Yes, the Lord was so good to us"

My friend could not help getting into this:

"Next thing you know, you'll be saying that Donald Trump died on the cross and rose again on Easter Morning!"

This old guy just looked at my friend, shook his head, and replied, "May the Lord have mercy on your soul." before walking out.

Talk about being brainwashed to within an inch of your life........so goddamn sad..........

 

It's sad, isn't it? I have a woman who was my lover and is still my friend and she thinks that Trump walks on water and I've pointed out the fuckups that her "god" has foisted on America, and she has excuses for them and, wow, it is so sad, and it breaks my heart to see such a smart woman drinking the Trump Kool-Aid. She doesn't see that nothing he's doing is making America great, that he hasn't even tried to fulfill any of the promises he made during his campaign, and I asked her how invading Canada and Greenland is making America great and in any context and... she declined to answer me.

So sad. The MAGA cultists are finding out that their "god" has fucked them in the ass again and just like he did the first time he was in office... and they're so stupid that they don't know that they've been raped...

I'm an avid reader of science fiction and before he even gave a single thought about running for the presidency, I'd read books that mention him as being president and how badly he fucked everything up, taking America from being the great country it had been to the worst third world country of all time. A lot of writers actually foretold what would happen to the country under a Trump presidency and... they weren't that far off given the shit he's been doing in two terms so far.

You do not - and cannot - make America great by removing civil liberties and rights; you do not make America great by turning our allies against us; you do not make America great by sucking up to our mortal enemies; you do not make America great by threatening to invade sovereign countries and for reasons that not only don't make sense but doesn't do anything for America. This list can go on and on and on and you'd have to be totally fucking brainwashed to believe that this convicted felon has America - and Americans - best interest in mind... because he clearly doesn't.

A long while back, I saw this political cartoon somewhere that had a group of Martians gazing down on Earth, rife with wars, injustices, disease, and injustices.

People like him are so far out of touch with reality that to say it isn't funny doesn't do the situation any real justice. They're the kind of people who'd argue with you if you said that the sun is really bright today and they'd insist that it wasn't while trying to ply you with some "logic" that wouldn't make any sense even if you were as drunk as a skunk.

They lied about the state of his health and anyone looking at him can tell that the results of his physical, as reported, is just another one of his lies and one that no one believes outside of his MAGA cultist, some of which are starting to realize that they backed the wrong horse and the GOP is waking up to their repeated mistake and slowly moving to take action but, as previously mentioned, the government machine is often slow to act or react but when it does, you might want to hold onto something so it's just a question of how long we're going to let this insane son-of-a-bitch run loose before we deal with him. Hopefully, when he's impeached this time, they'll take the next step and remove him from office... and SCOTUS will get their heads out of his ass and reverse that stupid ruling they made that, in essence, placed him above the law and untouchable.
