I think compared to where you are, it is exactly 12 hours difference. So 11:40 at night now. I am two hours south of Beijing (or 260 KM), in Hebei province. 3.1 is indeed weak. I don't know if I have even seen above 4. Although, I have seen both miller lite (no thanks) and, more surprisingly, PBR. What ABV is that? Maybe I can go back to the oldie. I would say Chinese beer is slightly better than PBR, to give you an idea. So I miss my microbrews like Shipyeard and Gearys for sure. I would love to find a Chinese ale, I am sure they exist. Perhaps in Beijing.. Maybe even a microbrew. I heard from a colleague that you can get Newcastle near by, and he even thinks, perhaps, other rare beers, he thinks.
beer advocate has it listed as 4.74, but i dont think i've seen it that high before. i think it was 4.2 or 4.5 last i checked it. sometimes these things change though, sometimes. more likely i was just wrong
Pssh, what crazy language are you speaking? I'm poor and I only usually get my alcohol from convenience stores or Wal-Mart, so, Smirnoff Ice and Mike's Hard (the whole lot of them, even though I haven't come across anything more than lemonade and strawberry lemonade around here). And those bitch beers Bacardi makes. I don't drink much at all, so scoff at my choices all you want. When I'm looking to get liquored up, it's straight shots of rum or vodka. Haha.
wow you are a beast! i will be down from the fifth, maybe drowning in puke. i guess i have a fragile guts
there's alot of Tsing Tsao in Chinese restaurants in England. Altho the Chinese themselves I think are big on Heineken and Carlsberg LOL
well yeah this is why it`s impossible for me to drink 12 beers, coz i will be dead ! but i do love beer. i prefer it over all other kinds of alcohol.
That's what I've always heard too. I never expected Miller High Life to be 5.5% either, because it goes down so easily and tastes half decent, when drinking it from the can, anyway. It tastes terrible in the bottle, which is weird, since most beer tastes better from the bottle.
Ahahaha.I have one more final on Tuesday at 4 and a field trip to Channel 7 News the next day because our prof. doesn't want the money for that class wastedI wish I hadn't used up all my absences!grr I wasn't done with the work for my pres but he's letting me turn it in by Tuesday.
Clear bottles tend to damage beer because of light entering the bottle. Green bottles, too. It tends to skunk the beer.
