I drank so much last night, not sure I'm going to drink at all today. Maybe later if not I'll try it tomorrow. And why not ice cold? What temp?
You NEVER drink any beer ice cold, unless it's pissy, watery beer like Coors or Bud. You drink it chilled, but never cold. That makes beer taste like shit and takes away half the flavor. Many Belgian and German beers are supposed to be consumed at room temperature. I believe it says on the bottle what temp to consume the Pumking at. 40 degrees or something like that. So fairly cold, but not too cold. I usually take it out of the fridge and let it sit for about 20 minutes before I pour it.
any decent beer says on the bottle the serving temp, and the serving temp of any beer can be found online. drinking yuengling tonite
also, this: been drinking it religiously since it came out. 8.5% ABV at like $7.75 a six pack? all day every day it tastes like bitter peaches. in a good bitter/hoppy way. not a gay fruity way
I went to a beerfest on friday and tried about 7 different kinds. Wished I could remember what they were.
Hoegaarden and Breznak and you got yourself a paaaaaartaaaay! Nice to get some tips off of this forum. Keep em coming guys. Black Butte XXV looks amazing.
Damn, that IS good. Took a couple sips. It's very different than what I normally drink. But everything about it is good. Smooth but spicy.
I told you. And it has this creaminess to it that I really like, which is even more pronounced as it warms up. To me the stuff is like liquid pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread. I have not had a pumpkin ale that comes even close to the flavors and aromas of this beer. It really does set the benchmark for pumpkin beers.
