I saw that all the time! There was this one club where large rustafarians would guard the toliets and and search you for drugs and cash if you needed to piss! They weren't members of the club either!

heh... at a club in washington d.c., i saw some crazy dude on dust light his socks on fire.

 

I've never been to a Rave. I always wanted to go to one.

Now I'm too old and I think I might not have the energy for it. lol

 

the scene in baltimore actually has quite a few older people that go. ive seen people that are older then 40 that go to some of them.

 

Really? Hey thanks. I'm going to keep that in mind and see about maybe getting my husband to check it out with me. I doubt he'd wanna go. I have a better chance of getting him to a festival or something like that. That might be a lil' more keyed to our energy levels.lol

 

heh...yeah, i dont even really have the energy to go to raves like i used to... nor do i really want to. but there are a lot of parties in baltimore that have some really good music and an older, more mature scene.

 

I'm really looking forward to when The Dead tour in the Summer. That's my favorite scene. Are you going next summer?

I like smaller concerts and clubs best really.....

I went to this "rave" out in the middle of the forest in Washington State once...that was surreal

i did go to several dead shows and tripped until I forgot my name....the first one being in Pittsburgh 1990 when i had no clue who they were.

 

I do but to be fair I think it comes in cycles. Depends on whats going on too.

I just got back from our local Irish pub and I'm feeling very Blessed oops that should have been pissed .. several pints of the emerald isles finest black stuff has really found its mark!! although you have depressed me as we don't have a regular supply of Stella artois and I do miss it . never mind !! could you hold the can very close to you key board and maybe I could catch a whiff,, ah good evening madam Peanuts nice to see your charming self tonight !!! and miz kozmicblue, although I don't think I've had the pleasure of your recourse, just seeing those green eyes has made logging on worth while... 121 I asked the same question the other night !! loads of you filled me in on what I was missing! although nobody gave me the list I asked for ? I asked for a list of the Deads top ten tunes so I could down load them and hear for my self what all the fuss was about. I realize now that they are more than a band, in fact i would go as far as to say they are a religion to some !! 121 their full name is " The grateful Dead !! "

Yeh ! just opened here in Thessalonica we have just spent 3 months building it and even if I do say so my self it fantastic !!! real Irish ! the Dead are a real old school hippy band that have been around since year err a long time anyway !!! I'm not sure what the sound like but as soon as I get that list I'll let you know !
