i got a queen size bed, just put the matresses on the floor, it's probably the comfiest bed i've ever had but i would really looove a king size bed with one of those sleigh bed frames
i have an ancient queen (i think my mom got it for me when i was like 6 or some shit) with a box spring. its on a frame of a 4 post iron canopy bed (so pretty, and black too so its such a sex bed... black satin sheets to boot). i wouldnt mind getting a king and matching king-sized quilts since my bf steals the blankets every few nights. andn, id love to have one that doesnt jiggle horrible when the other person moves (flu + a guy who wiggles in bed a lot til hes comfy enough to sleep = bad tummy feelings)
I got a full bed. I got it on Sept when I moved to Ottawa. I love it, a little too much perhaps and I kinda miss it at the moment. It's just a matress with it's base. I've never really liked bed frames and I dont know why I dont have my bed on the floor. I love the floor and I like to be close to it.
I don't like my bed... its very shitty and too soft, while being too hard in all the wrong places. I like sleeping on couches... I'm most comfy laying on my side with my back against something, is why I sleep against the wall now some nights... but it works much better on a couch. I like to have just a hair more sleeping space than I need to not fall off.
Kevin and I are thinking of either a sleep number because he has a bad back and bad knees and has a hard time sleeping, or a temperpedic because I have really bad allergies and those are hypoallergenic. But for right now, we're sleeping on his rock hard mattress that's made extra long for a guy that's 6'5" haha
We have a queen sized bed, with a solid oak frame, headboard, and high footboard. It's pretty, not too fancy, not too plain either. It's hard for me to describe how the carving is and whatnot, I don't know the correct terminology as to how the design is, but I like it. We have two matching dressers and two matching bedstands as well. The bed is a perfect size for us. We've slept on king sized and I swear we rarely cuddled because it was so big and we felt so far away from one another! Our mattress is a good one. We spent a bit on it, but the way my husband sees it, we spend much of our lives sleeping, and it's well worth the money to wake up feeling good and not sporting an aching back for the rest of your life. So it's a good investment really, despite the initial sticker shock some mattresses carry.
Well we bought a new bed today. We both fell in love with this awesome super kingsize black iron bedstead and just had to have it. We also got matching bed side tables. Thank goodness for the January sales. We still need to get a new mattress at some point though, but they're so daaaaamn expensive.
