Beautiful Days 2005

Heya all. We were just wondering if anyone wants to come in the car with us and half petrol money. It would be cheaper than say a train from the london area and it would help us out as we havn't got much money.

 

Damn If you'd said earlier, I would have gone down to London, Fleassy.

I got my train tickets yesterday. Pontefract Tanshelf at about 7am, to Wakefield Kirkgate, then from there to Sheffield and on to Exeter, arriving there at 12:16. Or if I wake up late (hooray for open end tickets ), I can get the 10am train from Pontefract Baghill to Sheffield, then Sheffield to Exeter, arriving there at about 6pm. It'll probably be the 6pm arrival, since I'm at work the night before and I'll be too tired for a 5am wakeup call. How about everyone else? Will I be the last one to arrive? Save me a spot, damnit!

 

Oh, talking about "save me a spot"...I've said it before and I'll repeat it now. My tent is big enough for three or four people. If you're a lazy sod who hasn't sorted out a sleeping place yet, feel free to share mine


And if it rains all weekend, we have a "communal" tent

 

cant we just use it as an excuse to snuggle up close with all 13 of you?

 

ill be there with a lady friend and two 16 year old girls ^_^ if i bump into any of you ill say hi!

 

Unfortunately, my 11 brothers and 1 sister will be staying at home during the festival. Power_2 (the super-intelligent one) was planning on inventing a machine that would duplicate my ticket twelve times, but Power_10 (the evil one) sabotaged it to print ten thousand pictures of Goatse as revenge after P_2 "looked at him funny"

I'd better get some packing done soon, too. Tent and sleeping bag, obviously...big daft baggy student coat in case it rains...extra pair of jeans in case I shit myself or something...phone...TICKETS...wallet...drinkage...maybe some food. Hmm, not so light after all...

Can anyone comment on the food at the festival? Expensive? Reasonably priced? Good?
