Beach erections

Not really.

 

I hate to be rude on this,, but I am sick and tired of postings of erections. I am almost 55 years old, been a nudist since I was 18, and in all the years I have gone to nude beaches,, nudist resorts,, etc,, etc,,, not once,,repeat,, not once have I ever seen a male with an erection.. I dont know why this keeps coming up in these threads, but my guess its more of a sexual thing than a nudist thing.. I would encourage the "real" nudists,,, if there are any,, to not post responses to this stupid question.. Oh yeah,, I forget. The new nudists are wondering if this happens, or if its normal,,, etc. Not buying it... sorry

 

The philosophy of many nudists is to accept people in all shapes, sizes, etc. A man can be erect or flaccid. As nudists, we should be just as accepting if a man is erect as if he is flaccid.

 

Nudists can have whatever they want. An erection does not necessarily scream "sex!". If a guy gets an erection it is because he has been aroused from predominantly visual stimulation, but often touching, either passively or actively; just taking one's swimmers off can bring on an erection. So what!? Try and be more tolerant to what is a normal human response. Imagine if guys didn't get erections! They'd be pretty bloody boring things to look at by anybody.

 

I like to get one at the beach and then run around chasing all the ladies!

 

If you get one and are ashamed of it, jump in the water and it'll go away if the water is cool enough.

I have been to many nude beaches and resorts. Erection happen. I have gotten erections. It happens. Just do not flaunt it. Nobody would care. There has been time where i have seen women's breast get perky also. Part of life...

 

This is the position of the hippie movement and rainbow family on the matter. The "official nudist movement" really frowns on erections for some reason and the topic is like a red rag to a bull on the same level as genital jewelery. I have seen many erections. I can put up my hand here. I was often erect when skinny dipping at the beach as a university student. This was not something I had any control over BTW. The Rainbow Family have a tolerant attitude towards nudity and from time to time you will see an erection at a Gathering or in a communal house as I have. This is no more the subject of comment than is the nudity itself. Nor should it be.

 

It's becoming a terrible "big deal". People have this hang-up that an erection is a naughty, no-no, must-never-happen thing. Well, hello! God made it so and we should love it! I see erections at ConFest (hippy/alternative lifestyle festival in New South Wales, here in Australia) at Christmas, guys camping in open-air tents, li-loing on the river with a boner or being lathered-up with mud in the mudhole... . I don't think anybody gives a shat about it, though newcomers on their first ConFest may squirm and titter amongst themselves, and girls will giggle, but with so many naked people around, many of whom are high on pot, an erection is a given. Let it be.

 

It's not necessarily what we think that matters, it's what those who want to restrict opportunities for nude sunbathing and other nude recreation think. They will use men with erections as an argument to restrict nude opportunities.

 

Well, then don't stop there. You need to poll each and every person on the planet to find out every perceived problem that they could possibly complain about and then confine your activities to only those things that *everybody else* finds acceptable.

But whatever you do, don't think your own thoughts or live your own life because somebody somewhere just might disagree with you. And we can't have that, now can we?

 

You know, i've never been to a nude beach. But I'am an art student, and I have drawn my share of nude people. At one point I recall a couple female art students who were facing the model giggleing and being really obtuse about the male model having a semi.

This sort of thing makes me uncomfortable, THEY make me uncomfortable. Sometimes I feel like a complete alien in my own city because so many people are so gossipy, and pretentious and consumed by trends and ...asleep in life's waiting room.

Anyways to the subject, I wouldn't be offended or uncomfortable if someone had an erection at a nude beach.
I think you're right a lot of people have been desensitized. We seem to have forgotten what it's really like to be HUMAN and not subservient to these delusional morals forced on to us by society and in some cases by our own parents.

In that case we spend the majority of our life unlearning all of those ideals and filling them in with what's real and natural.

 

if you had the option to be nude during your art class as a student wouldn't you be offended or uncomfortable if you suddenly see an erection at art class or at a nudist beach you've visited ?

this is perfectly said... i have never met a girl with an attitude like that... i enjoy and love it... few times i even had a chance to expose my hardon on a nude beach. the girl lying not that far away with his hubby in the panties liked it a lot and she was giving me her sights...

I have been an active, social nudist since 18 (so approaching 25 yr mark ). My wife and I have observed the subject comes up much more frequently than the object. I have been fortunate and rarely has it ever been a concern. The few times it was, it occurred in a less, public nudist venue as opposed to a beach or resort etc. In such cases, I felt hiding, and covering etc just would have called unnecessary attention to it. I just ignored it and went about my usual routine and in no time at all, matter resolved. I think very few people would have a problem as long as someone was polite and not flaunting it around ( for a few minutes ) if it persist then sure cover it etc.

 

Boners are pretty common on the nude beach that I have been visiting since the mid-1960s; I don't have a problem with it even when talking with guys. Guys lie belly up: sure people look at it, but it's not like they're going to hump him, and continue walking on. Others strike up a came of quoits — unconventional but imaginative (and it does work!). Boners in the water are even more common. I don't think nudists would be human if people didn't see one and appreciate that it's an entirely natural thing.

 

I'm a nudist who is not offended with erections. They can be awkward yes buy it is also a compliment. Unlike other nudist, I don't feel the obligation to completely separate nudity and sexuality. So what if some guy/boy gets an erection.
There has been a move to make one's face the only official representative of who we are. Women remind men to look at their face and not their breast. That's not the kind of girl I am. My breast, crotch and my whole body are as much of who I am as my face. If on a nudist beach and a guy or girl are staring at my body, I am fine with that. Those other parts are as much of "me" as my face. If a guy has an erection. I say enjoy. Don't let "nudist" puritan rules tell you anything else.
