Ban something becuase of others abuse!

I didn't think it took too much interpretation. It pretty much in a nutshell said that:
"We've always got the wackos who are gonna do whatever the fuck they want regardless of laws, so why should we make it easier for them to go out and shoot up a school?" .....
Translation, there are always going to be people who are going to do whatever regardless of laws. So lets make more laws for people to break in trying to control something that is not controllable. Yea, ok, more red tape and paperwork...

"People will ALWAYS abuse something. And almost always, somebody else will suffer as a result. A government should not sit idly by and watch its people suffer"....
Translation: People will always abuse SOMETHING, people will suffer, that's the way it is. So lets allow the government to take even more control of us stupid humans than they already have. Maybe we can let them control EVERYTHING and then we will have no life, no freedom, no nothing. But people will STILL abuse things and harm others.... Oh yea, and that's what they DO is let the people suffer. Were you expecting something better?

Just how much do you WANT to be controlled anyhow?!!!!!! You said it, twice. People will do things. No matter what the laws say, no matter how hard they crack down. You are looking for an open invitation to dictatorship, with no real change except more control and more laws.

You say people will do whatever they want, no matter what. I take that to mean no matter what. Well, they will. So, is it no matter what, or are they somehow miraculously going to make some kind of laws that people will suddenly follow without any problem? And how, praytell, will they accomplish that?

I dont see it foolsih at all, Im just not paranoid about it is all. I have commited no crime and as gardners and people who love thier bodies ect, yup I am proud of my ability to collect certain firearms and some who have PM'd have enjoyed talking about these type of firearms. I have purchased most of my firearms thru dealers so most of my collection is already on file thru paperwork and also thru my home owners insurance so its not like its all hidden in a tube underground ect.

I am not paranoid but I guess some are.
