yes I did.

I didn't really know him; talked to him once or twice, but I knew that he was a pretty cool guy - kind of a loner. The media went crazy around here after this happened. I know he would be ashamed that all this shit happened as a result, but it was completely blown out of proportion.

He was also doing more than salvia. Apparently he was doing coke on a regular basis, and other things like that. I ran into one of his friends one night (we were in a group, so it wasn't personal) and he said that brett was getting "coke or ecstasy" that night.

In my opinion, his parents probably just felt really guilty (i think they found coke in his car a few days before he died) and wanted to blame something. Lame, but understandable in a warped way.

Damn I really don't like to spread this around, but hey...
