Family won the court fight is TX; Justice Justice (not kidding on the judge's name here) said the Rainbow Family had a right to peacably Gather on public lands (then they made that lousy 75 reg )

And yes, please take the citations if you are threatened; heck, follow the ticket writers around and ask for more; nothing worse than dealing with large numbers of hippies who are united!:) ;) :)

    Tensions run high in forest

Forest Service abandons checkpoint after incident with Rainbow group
    By Matt Stensland
    Wednesday, June 21, 2006
CLARK — The Rainbow Family peace gathering turned hostile Tuesday when a group of attendees began hurling rocks and sticks at law enforcement officers, U.S. Forest Service officials said.

Hmm, where's the peace and love there?

eek, sounds like an A-camp movie i cant get the article to open for some reason but i'm guessing that it was A-camp causing the problems
or, like they've tried in the past the fs sometimes tries to force a confrontation..but your right, theres no excuse for that
but i do believe that the report is most likely an exageration of the truth, 1 or 2 hot headed kids who dont know better can make any group look bad

ok, i got that to come up..like i thought, the fs forced a confrontation..pulling guns on us & threattening to shoot dogs ? yea exactly..wheres the peace & love in that
another note, other tactics they use, you could be sitting there peacefuly playing with a stick, & toss it away, 6 inches from where u are, & 30 feet from where they are..& as long as its not in the opposite direction they can claim you threw it "at" them
we've azll seen it before, so, anyone who can, bring vidio cameras, we will need em this year to document theyre abuses of power & harrassment
& everyone, please keep a level head & dont let your tempers play into theyre hands

that didnt happen at all, at least not the first part of the day. when the blockade was breached, the rainbow kids simply did it by walking through. there was NO ROCK THROWING.
