I love babywearing, i pretty much use a Mei Tai. I also love making them, and do alot of them for friends and sell a good share too. Oh Humblebee the correct way to say it this from an asian women is may-dye. I usually revert to my-tie i think alot of olks do. Heres is my lastest designs.
We began wearing our son Luke, when he was about 8 months old... he loved Dad lugging him around in his Sutemi Carrier. With Killian (due in August) we are anxious to start a lot sooner, since we only got to do it with Luke for a few months (he's a pretty big boy, always has been). We still have the Sutemi, for when he gets older, but have also invested in a BabyHawk Mei-tei for when he is younger. We use the stroller too, so for us, its the best of both worlds.
That's a really pretty carrier, merrijayne4! Does that have two shoulder straps? I always thought Mei Tais only have one?
