Awkard moments in an elevator.

silent but violent farts are a personal favorite...i try not to ride elevators though if i can help it...

 

i have a sort of fear of elevators, myself.

i'm always scared that they're going to malfunction and i'll be trapped in there, or they'll stop only partially on level with the exit and when i try to get out i'll be gruesomely decapitated or something...

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with an awareness of a situation's possible harm... it seems perfectly natural to me that getting into a little metal box thats 100 feet in the air and suspended by cables would cause a bit of uncomfort. To be unaware/not care about obvious danger is to be naive, not "normal". Some people really believe the elevator they ride multiple times a day can never fail... these are typically the same people that believe Bin Laden did everything but fly the planes into the world trade center, and are completely unaware of tower 7.

I don't like taking chances with my life if I don't absolutely have to... after coming extremely close (inches?) to a certain death because of a choice that didn't have to be made... I realized what "chance" really means. That helped/helps me pay a bit more attention to all of the world and never take things simply for face value. Also helped to remind me what VALUE really meant...

Notice these things we are "reminded" of... perhaps we are born with all the "morals" we need?

 

I never feared elevators. I prefer them when Im alone actually or when there's people with dogs

 

when i was 18-19 i had a job where i was in an elevator probably over half of my work day...then when i would get done with work, i still felt like i was in an elevator for at least a few hours still...you know that rising and falling feeling your body gets...thats why i dont dig on elevators at all...

 

Yeah I thought this was going to be a thread like loud farts, silent but deadly farts, sneeze and boogers come out type crap trapped in a box until they reach the floor they want. Come on lets his it real hard here people. Like the elevator is crowded and you are all puched real hard together and all of the sudden you remember the date the night before and something starts to stir. Now thats akward.

 

10 floors passes pretty quickly, compared to having to fear your phone for the next 2 weeks

 

your a midget in an elevator beside a hot chick with a short skirt, she farts in your face but you get extremely horney becuz you are so short then uhm.. you spill some water and ppl think you pissed yourself?

see now THAT would be awkward... and to think that has probably happened atleast once in the history of life. ROFL

 

I rode up the CN Tower elevator which shakes like crazy and you can see oside the whole time, yikes!

I get nervous of elevators whn there is a huge crowd on them. Or when Im by myself, because you never know what kind of creepy person youll meet.
