one week ago, i decided to stop shaving everything. now wait to leave the irritating prickly stage and reenter the long and lush stage!!
It'll happen soon, sister. Basically once it can lay down. I'm in an interesting spot: I haven't shaved a thing since 1995 but I do keep my eyebrows waxed (plucking always gets lopsided) or threaded. I have enough fuzz on my upper lip to consider having at that, too. I look at it this way: my face is the first impression, and I work with people and have to win their trust. I can't seem so different to them. sleeves and long skirts/ trousers/ tights can hide the rest of my fuzz (which isn't their business to begin with-it is mine and my sweetie's). So my face is "tidy." As I get older, the fuzz is more obvious. Since thinning is well-nigh impossible it's removal or not. Still deciding.
yeah my attitude has definetly changed. in middle school and highschool i would not have been caught dead in public with armpit hair and such, i would have been humiliated. all the broads around here shave. so i think that is why i felt that way. but nowadays i am not afraid to be seen with armpit hair, even in front of a guy im dating or something. it just doesnt embarass me any more.
i have to wax and pluck mine... they're about 15mm wide if they don't and a monobrow... well, let's not go there. i also have the beginnings of a mustache happening... damn my southern european ancestry!
When I was 13 I shaved everything. It was very itchy when it grew back in so now I just keep it trimmed. I think very common to do that.
I also pluck my eyebrows (mostly because they sit kind of low and tend to overshadow my eyes if I don't keep them under control.) Other than that? No razors. At all.
in the winter i barely ever shave my legs haha its so cold here i need that extra warmth. my bf made a comment the other day while massaging my feet so i shaved. men dont understand lol i love the feel of shaved legs in the summer but in the winter, oh dear. its just so cold shaving is like brutal
I shave my pits, because of odor. I shave my down there because I like how it feels and because it's just easier to keep clean. I shave my legs less often then I should. I try to look nice for my husband. Lately, I haven't shaved a damn thing. I can't get to my down there or to most of my legs 'cause of my pregnant tummy.
I shave my pits and legs, but not obsessively -- if I get prickly, it's not a big thing actually, for swim team, varsity swimmers were not allowed to shave their legs from the beginning of the season until right before state champs. it creates drag, and physically once you shave, you can drop fractions of a second -- psychologically, you can drop much more because you feel 'sleeker' I used to shave/wax down there, until my current boyfriend he prefers me hairy :] thank god for these colorado boys
I find body hair down there very embarrassing i have no idea why though. I'm clean shaven. But my fella doesn't care.
keeping things shaved is much more preferable and more comfortable than having a bunch of hair messing up the program. especially in the nether regions. ever gone commando with full bush? ouch.
Hmm... Well I started getting pubic hair at about 12 years of age. Just started shaving soon after. I don’t like to wax my arms or eye-brows (ouch). I shape my brows with tweezers. As with the legs, I just shave with a razer too. I had two autumns/ winters where I didn’t bother with my legs at all. I feel more comfy shaving though. As for downstairs. I don’t like having Brazilians or shaving completely bald (mainly for comfort reasons) So I just trim.
