    I can't find anything. Every link I go to says it's disputed. By whom? I don't know. But I really don't think the Iranians would risk it right now.

    I believe at the end of the last war between Iraq & Iran it was split down the middle, if it hadn't been before.

    But it's pretty irrelevant now.

    What matters is that this time the Brits got taken, there's a different president of Iran. The last one was a moderate, so he was keen to score points by giving the Brits back. But this time we know who it is, and he has a completely different agenda.

    That is the problem this time. Esp. when the US & UK are desperate for an excuse to beat the shit out of Iran.

    Is there any record photo or digital on these ships? They don't paint stripes and borders on water. And rivers notoriously change course depending on runoff and erosion. Who decides? The UN? Mother Nature doesn't stand still for 32 years, rivers change their course.

    I really feel Iran isn't looking to go to war, but the coalition may be looking to provoke. They must have felt within their rights to do such a bold action.

    This may be the bigger reason for the hooplah, hell if you can charge Californians 4.00 per gallon by July 4th, hell that's a huge profit. It's even a great reason to order a ship to sail off a few degrees.

    you'd better get used to more war, this conflict will be played out for the next couple of centuries. allied troops have invaded the middle east on the pretext of god before, needing to secure all the gold and sanctity of the holy city. this time its about black gold. mainly its about stupidity on the voting publics part by allowing idiots nay criminals to take over our society and hold a sword to our throats whilst telling us its all for our own good. vote stupid people in and stupid things happen a vast swathe of history has come about because of this problem. iran has now either fully prepared for war or is just seing what it can get before a surprise police action ala pearl harbour is launched on it. if you noticed in the news there have been mysterious car bombs being set off in southern iran recently. the propaganda for war with iran has been building.

    The two swords they used on us were 9/11 and Anthrax, which was obviously a covert Cheney mission to convince the skeptics to go to war (Daschle, democrats, the news media, etc.)

    Yes, the CIA is VERY active in Iran right now. They are funding groups that oppose the Iranian gov't. I actually would prefer if they would just do some key assassinations rather than fomenting more wars.

    As far as the Brits go, I bet they chased a boat suspected of smuggling into Iranian waters, whereupon they were ambushed by the Revolutionary Guards. It was probably a trap. Otherwise the smugglers were in cahoots with the Guards, smuggling weapons to people in Iraq, and when they were discovered, their Guard controls were right there to help them.

    In either case, I doubt they'll be given back until the US releases it's Iranian prisoners. This is gonna take a long time to play out, and like I said, it'll be used as one more justification for war on Iran, but fortunately it wasn't the spark for the war.

    The time is getting closer now. The US is building up its forces along the Iran border. The last couple of days there's been US military games in the Persian Gulf, practicing for the attack and possible invasion of Iran.

    Another aircraft carrier battle group is heading to the region along with more batteries of patriot missiles.

    Bush must be DESPERATE now to pound Iran, just to PROVE to the Arabs and Persians that the US can still muster enough force to inflict heavy blows against its "enemies". To show that the US is still a superpower and no doubt to show some kind of "victory" to the people back home who grow weary of war.

    How this attack will backfire I'm sure has been of little concern to the Pentagon planners, much less the politicians like Cheney who are pushing for this.

    The US is moving the entire aircraft carrier attack group, Nimitz now, to the Persian Gulf from its base in San Diego. The Russians have reported that a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities will occur on April 6th.

    That will bring to 3 the number of US aircraft carriers off the coast of Iran. That's also in addition to two more US navy battle groups, and untold numbers of UK and Australia & EU/Nato assets in the Gulf region!

    It's amazing what's going in Bahrain. The US is REALLY gearing up for war.

    Oh, btw, all those EXTRA TROOPS in the surge, are ACTUALLY now on Iran's Border, preparing for the attack, and NOT securing Baghdad!

    Do you realize that nearly HALF the entire US fleet is now in the Mideast? With all the other deployments around the world, there ain't much left defending our "homeland". So much for "homeland" security. I bet if China or Russia attacked us now by sea, it'd be a "cakewalk" for them...

    War is ever closer! Will someone PLEASE STOP THIS BUSHIT!!!

    Bush and Cheney feel they can do what ever they feel like doing. Even to falsifying the true information on the abducted British Sailors. They think marketing will win out in the long run, so they continue with their personal agenda.

    I think Repubs should rethink that frame of thinking. The American public are sick of their war mongering. And those that continue to support them will no longer find willing votes.

    the war on iran is an ethnic cleansing action

    what i mean is that it is now patently obvious that america and its allies for whatever reason intends to make the arabic race and culture functionally extinct. whatever iran intends to do to save itself from the gas chambers it needs to do now and quickly.

    to speak the truth , Ammadinejihad or how the fuck his name is spelled is doing his best to give the US/UK a "good reason" to draw their guns . those middle east bad guys are always so predictable, even too much to look believable.
    Are we sure that Saddam was really hanged ?

    That may be true, but Iran is Persian, not arabic. It's about oil, not ethnicity. And at some level it's about Religions and prophecies.
