    I haven't heard them so I don't know if they are as good. Probably not as big because older people like us as well as the young ones like the Beatles.

    Is London really as foggy as it is depicted in old movies?

    No-in the 50's 'smog' was caused by lead in petrol and coal-burning fires;removing the lead and Maggie shutting our mines removed the smog...and the miners.

    not always....but i think the fact that most of the time they are because they have a different accent and americans just go along with "different accent = bad" mentality.....i think this is only for hollywood movies.

    did you read this before i edited it and finally asked a question?

    Its the accent. I dont mean the way they speak, i mean they use accent seasoning when they cook. Womencant resist the taste of that stuff.

    no, it dosnt matter how accurate you are, if you cant throw the ball over the 7ft mans head you arent going to get any points.

    can i blame you guys when i dont go to the bank to pay my bills? (im not there because i am here after all)

    I often will plug in my gps. A map cant tell you the eta. But when i am going somewhere i never been i will also print out a map and directions.

    What was the last trip over 50 miles that you never been to before?

    The one I just made ... walking 200 odd miles in Scotland (some of them VERY odd), ending in a place I never been :)


    When was the last time you posted on a games thread, and forgot to follow the rules of the game?

    Yes. When I had my hip replaced I was in a rehab place and fire alarms went off. They closed all the patients doors. I was barely walking with a walker. Definitely panic time.


    Have you ever been in a panic situation?
