Mmmm a LOT did happen in those days, i would not be suprised. I'm not buying that, i'm going with what TheMadcapSyd has said. That seems reasonable to me.
assholes are everywhere. am i supposed to worship you because you're one, too? because hundreds of years ago your country helped perpetrate some of the worst crimes against humanity of all time? yeah, our country has problems, but judging my your attitude, i can see why your's does as well.
I didn't suggest that I am greater than you in any way shape or form. I simply voiced my reasoning on why most of the Americans I've encountered in the past have annoyed me. Fucking Hell I have nothing against you. I know my country is full off assholes. 'Chavs' (Council Housed and Violent) inhabit a lot of it and you'll get abused even if you just pass by a group of them and in no way am I trying to back that up. In the town I live in alone, loads of new Polish have come over and a large number of them have been jumped by Chavs and in some cases seriously injured. A dickhead I know is doing 15 months right now for stabbing a Polish fella in the eye with a smashed glass bottle. You're right, assholes are everywhere. I guess I don't hate America; I hate the arseholes that live there.
fair enough. i just get incredibly pissed off when a whole nation of human beings of infinite backgrounds, beliefs, opinions, goals, personalities and intentions are painted with one huge, ugly brush. it's insensitive. just because it's the USA doesn't make it any different than any other country.
every country is different. ever person is different. one can't believe oneself to be enlightened, educated and good if there's still that ability to pigeon-hole an entire nation. it's insulting, no matter who it is, to all those people who try so hard and fight so hard to make things right and to do the right thing. it's unfair bigotry.
Depends. Capitalist americans reek of golf courses and old money. Hippie americans smell like the great outdoors. Some americans smell like cabbage- depends on the person I guess. LOL
Could be cereal like Fuit Loops or Great Grains. Most traditional would be eggs, bacon, sausage, buttered toast with jelly or a biscuit and grits.
As I was born in the great metropolis of Atlanta,GA I can say that sometimes I do wish I was born in the UK. My ancestors came to America from Cambridge during the American War for Independence so I don't know much about my English heritage though I am learning.
I love cheese, especially Swiss, Cheddar and Mozzerella. I hate American cheese, tastes like plastic. Ironic isn't it? I drive a Honda Accord so I'd say Americans do drive cars, although many cannot drive well at all.
Perhaps some of them are compensating for something else. lol I drive a small car that gets good mileage and could never bring myself to drive any of those gas guzzling monstrocities. Also, American roads and alleyways are wider, allowing for larger vehicles. This is what I think anyways.
I don't support any particular party, I research the candidates and vote for them based on who supports my views on governmental roles in society. All Americans aren't necessarily patriotic. There was a big surge in patriotism after 9/11 but it seems to have died down a little bit. I am not sure what Christmas pudding is. Is it figgy pudding?
Not sure about the vehicle composition. You can buy Tetley, English Breakfast and many other brands like Celestial Seasonings (the flavoured teas) in the supermarkets of the states.
