thanks. i also heard a new one the other, on why a dad was getting his daughter a big ol' dodge: "with all the huge trucks and stuff out there, one of those little bitty cars wouldn't stand a chance in a wreck." so you can add protective parent syndrome to the whole thing.
We don't live in the 1960s do we ?. I'm sure modern manafactured cars have the equivilant of roll cages. Even the 'puny' ones get tested beyond what is likely to ever happen to them. Meh i'm not a parent, i can see it would be of some concern. I won't be that cynical. Atleast, i think they should do what my friends used to do. Go around together, rather than some form of convoy. I'm just thinking about their future and their environment *cough*. If they continue we are all doomed.
irn bru (pronounced iron brew) is a scottish drink its bright orange and goes perfect with vodka but its impossible to explain the taste :/ but i highly recommend it
Yes but you are also older and wiser. Sorry, more mature and have a few years of experience. Young pups today don't think like you imho.
Just kidding . It does taste nice. I just could not expalin the taste in all honesty. I just thought americans weree used to drinking cold ...sorry 'Iced tea'. They may like that cobination. What is gate ade ?
you have to be indoctrinated to the taste of kool aid from birth. it's not the best, but it's a taste of childhood. *shrugs* like ketchup and campbells chicken noodle soup. not the best, but what you really want. gatorade was created by the chemists or whatnot at a florida college to help their football team stay hydrated during super-hot, super-mucky weather. it work exceedingly well, better than water by itself. as such, it tastes like medicine to me. i've never been a fan. but when i'm weightlifting or doing hard cardio, it helps a lot.
iced tea is really a product of the south. iced sweet tea, when you're just swimming through hot ultra humid air is truly refreshing, especially with a little mint in it. just enough caffeine and sugar to get your blood flowing when you want to melt into an oozing puddle on the ground, and cool enough to bring down your core temperature. it's also incredibly good at washing down the rich, highly spicy food. i've known my indian friends to really enjoy iced sweet tea with their dishes in the summer.
i dunno. probably because it's lazy, langourous and soft. it sounds like swinging naked in a comfie hammock in the summertime. it's the open syllables of a relaxed mouth, slightly sleepy, breathy, soft, seductive, like after some gentle loving on a southern beach. it's a blend of a lot of very earthy cultures and people, it's mardi gras, it's southern comfort, it's southern hospitality and a voluptuous summer.
Why are some Americans so happy-go-lucky, and always have that "Have a nice day" smile on thier face? Please don't say it's because you're a happy country.
some people are just happy. i'm a pretty happy person, most of the time. my life is going well, i like where i live, my community kicks ass and has some great breweries. i can get surly, though, if you like.
