That attitude is why I enjoy watching Leave it to Beaver on TV Land with Barbara Billingsley as June Cleaver (and no not the jive talking Barbara Billingsley in the movie Airplane) Hotwater
Japanese. Yeah, fair one man, you did say you don't like them too ethnic looking. But I do. I gotta get to Japan...
would you marry a whitey? i don't think it necessarily means a person has any less tie to the culture. some movies are alright, i will give it a chance. but yeah, the trying too hard to be western type makes me cringe. it turns out to be uber tacky and just plain ninny. i liked lagaan and munna bhai. haha we're similar here, too, i don't watch movies that often nor am I a fan of any type of soap opera. well you know fair skin IS the ideal
this is true. i mean, i've never actually tried to get the time of day from either demographic, but latinas are generally better looking anyway.
Well I think they are both hot. But every time I talk to an Asian they look at me like I am White American Devil. But with White, Latina, and Black girls they are really responsive to me. They even flirt with me. Asians just give me a "go to hell" look and ignore me.
awww.. You just ain't talking to the right asians. No, I wouldn't want to In a perfect world I'd meet an amazing indian guy, british asian, we'd fall in love and happily ever after. Its not a physical thing, it's just I'd like someone who already knows hindi. I'd like someone who I don't have to explain everything to when we go to meet my family, who doesn't need me to be a go between. I'd like one less reason for my father's family to look down on us. Also Lagaan and Munna Bhai! Two of the few movies I've watched! :cheers2: Loved both of them. We have lagaan on tape, I loved the song 'radha kaise na jale'. Besides, all three of the leads were pretty hot. ha. Haven't watched that in ages. Munna Bhai was just funny. I've seen MBBS and another one, I can't remember which though. Didn't like it as much; didn't bother watching the whole thing. xD I'd be lying if I didn't like fair skin, I just don't like it too fair. I like brown, I like caramel, chocolate colours. And I'd be lying if I said I liked pale skin. But I look way too dark in some of my pictures. You can barely see my face; ha. I don't like that at all. *shrugs* Oh well.
i LOVE bubbly and energetic. what i don't like is people who actually look like anime characters. it's like that creepy chan chick.
I understand...I guess there's that innate bond that helps brownies understand brownies better. The probability of an Indian boy knowing hindi is a lot higher than other cultures =-p [/Captain Obvious] Doh! South Asian families can be so frustrating. Societal expectations > self-happiness? My family is the same way. It seems impossible to change deep-rooted beliefs. But, I will stand up for what I feel is right. That shouldn't involve rash, silly decisions. Fair skin does look nice, but so can darker skin. I guess the extremes are naturally either a hit or miss for people. We should just work with what we have and accent it.
