I dunno if they should have guns the way us brits works is very cocky!!! so if we gave our police guns they might take the piss a bit - im not saying shooting and stuff but other things - use it to their advantages!!!! look at america for example their police have guns and look at that 'country'
We're living in a new Britain now with new deadly threats. If you have loved ones then I presume you want them to be safe.... Criminals arn't afraid of prison. Prisoners get cable TV, good food and other forms of entertainment to make their stay there enjoyable... even murders have human rights here.
the real question is not so much about getting more guns but rather how exactly england has come to this point in the first place? one to ponder.
agreed, our nation is changing.. but i see it getting worse if we bring in gun control. i want my loved ones to be safe, and to be that means no guns what so ever, i do not believe guns are ever the answer, quite the oppsoite actually, i am actually quite shocked to see so much support for this. we cannot use other states as reasoning for this, we are our own country and own culture, so we will not not if it would make it better or worse. i may take some slack for this, but i do believe all humans deserve human rights, no matter what they have done. because we will treat them as they should of treated others, with a bit of humanity. peacex

Yes the UK police should be armed its absolute crazy that there not most other E/U countries have had this for years and the UK is way behind the times.
