I don't know, smart is a relative term.

I qualified for MENSA at age 17, but don't put much stock in that and really think MENSA is just for elitist wimps who want to feel good about themselves.

Yeah, I am smart. I don't think I could be a brain surgeon, though.

There are different types of smarts.

 

I am, and it has actually been 'proven' on numerous occasions. However, like BSR said, that doesn't make a person better or happier.

I also think there are a lot of people who like thinking they're smarter but really aren't.

Really, I thought it would've been a bit higher to get into mensa, not that that isn't impressive, but like you said, it's relative to how other people score.

were IQ tests really that common so recently? i know by the time i was in elementary school they were telling us that IQ tests were obsolete for public school students, yet every single person on here who is anywhere near my age either took several IQ tests for their schooling, or else lies a lot...
