Canada is pretty chill! Cops try to avoid enforcing cannabis laws, since A large percentage of the population blazes so that's generally tolerated. The landscape and sky are so big, natural and beautiful. Lots of chill hippies

I believe that nationalism is a species killer. If we don't eventually realize that we are the same species and that this is currently the only planet that we have we will eventually kill ourselves off

 

I love my country... I hate a lot of the people who are supposed to represent it. Greed is killing this place. I am not proud of a lot of thing that they do. I wish it was a place that everybody was proud of once again.

 

I am proud of what South Africa has become ,not what it was .

 

No country Id rather call home and still proud of America but -disgusted with its leaders and the direction we are headed

Nope can't say I'm proud of my country, not all the people are so bad I mean there are lots of awesome people in the U.S but that does not make up for the way things are being ran in this country or how our foriegn policy works.

Saying that you are proud of being a ______ (fill in the blank) is like saying that you are proud to be on earth. Unless you immigrated to a country, you have nothing to be proud of. You did not accomplish anything by being born in a particular country. Pride is reserved for personal accomplishments, not something that happened to you by chance. You can be happy to be an American but not proud.

I'm happy that I'm a Texan. What the USA is doing around the globe makes me sick. Invading other countries, killing the citizens, destroying their homes and businesses, is nothing to be proud or happy about unless you are a military contractor. I'm sick of what the US had done both at home and abroad. From the war on terror to the war on drugs, the USA has become a monster that destroys the lives of both it's citizens and citizens of other countries. A country of sheep that are more interested in the latest reality TV show or the next generation of IPhone than they are about children starving in Africa.

 

I love my country but why would I be proud of it. I am proud of some things I accomplished but I'm not sure if I added to the greatness of the nation I was born and still live in (actually I'm pretty sure I did not add shit to it ). So being pride on something I am not responsible for in any way feels kind of misplaced.

 

I vote. I use my right to speak freely. I consider that contributing to my country. Just sayin'. *nods*
