but men who don't want to pay for their babies have you think it's bad now, think about women without bcp's ...
I have not been on prescribed medication in probably about 20 years, ever since I got bronchitis and ear infections a lot
you know, the first twenty or so years of my life i only ever took antibiotics for strep when i was nine. that's not to say that i didn't depserately need something else form time to time. we just couldn't afford the doc and weren't really allowed to go unless something was terribly broken. even then mom would make you wait around for several hours with ice on it until the swelling went down a bit and she could see the damage wasn't just a sprain. but then, after suffering through YEARS of migraines, i got a shot of imitrex. i cried. i'd had a nearly constant migraine throughout my entire high school and college life. one shot and it was gone in 15 minutes. completely. fuck that. the depression that had me trying to kill myself? GONE. the high blood pressure spikes that would trigger a migraine? GONE. the periods that would have me missing days of school while i vomitted in my bedroom in the dark? GONE. i think it's a take it or leave it thing. after all, even animals seek out their natural cures. i've happened across a couple items not so natural that help. dave hates to even take an ibuprofen. my mother has had one headache in her entire life. yeah, i think a lot of pharms are WAY over-prescribed. so what? some people drink too much. some people smoke too much pot. some people eat too much. some people exercise too much. who cares? i'm not hurting anyone. i'd likely have murdered myself years ago if not for my pharms.
Nope, antibiotic cream 10 years ago for an accident and that's it. If I'm lucky it'll stay that way (and it's gonna stay that way whether I'm lucky or not, I'm stubborn like that)
been on birth control since i was 15, barring a few months here and there. other than that, only 'scripts ive ever taken were antibiotics and anti-virals (if i remember right, at least) one more case of tonsilitis and they wouldve been pulled when i was younger
I'd actually be comfortable prescribing myself medications in most cases. I read a lot of medical texts, yet have no interest in medical school. For reasons.
i tried to find a place where i can get my scripts cheaper online. fuck no. it's all codiene and shit. i pay over 180 per month in prescriptions. you think i LIKE it? fuck no. okay, i'll keep my $60/month hyzaar, but that stupid shit? jeez, man. i'm so annoyed.
i've been on birth control since i was 14 or so as well so i've stoped taking them to try and see how my body is without drugs and last week, that was a really bad idea because we had a little scare YAY plan b
i like the pill. i like lighter, more predictable periods. i really like not getting pregnant when im fucking broke and my guys still in school and i still don thave a real job. plus, marriage first sounds like a good idea to me (assuming all goes to plan, taht is)
i've got one pill for my blood pressure and that's it. that's one more then i want to be on, and if the day comes when i won't be able to get it, no big deal. i'll live or i won't. i was living just fine before my doctor put me on it, but my bp was way up there. so i'm not bitching and i am taking it. but the damd stuff does dehydrate my throat something fierce. i'm half the time sucking on some kind of coffdrop for my throat and i'm two thirds afraid i'm going to end up with some kind of ulcer from doing so (in combination with the stress of having to live with anybody). i'm just glad, so far, its the only one they've got me on. my wife's got half a dozzen mood levelers and ghod only knows what all else. good thing the government is paying for them. and she really does need them. she doesn't always pay very good attention to what she's doing, but when she misses them she gets a LOT worse. =^^= .../\...
Well, since it appears my car will be in the shop forever I shall begin walking today....no, I'll ride my bike.... Yayy...see you in a week.
lol.... that sucks... did you look in that forum i gave you or post there about it? i would do that if you havent.
yeah, i'll have a look. i could only pick up half my prescriptions when i went in, and that was with their "discount." pfft. it's 10%. stimulus check desperately needed.
