Last night I saw Bush saying that anyone living in American must learn to speak English cause after all.... it's America! So different from Canada where cultures are wonderfully diverse and appreciation for languages is part of the multi-cultural perspective. Canada sold their souls last election anyways... welcome nukes.
yeah, but in most places you're fucked if you can't speak English in Canada. Parts of BC, Mandarin or Cantonese will get you by, and Quebec and a few of the east coast provinces you can do fine with French, but... for most places, you need at least rudimentary English or some super basic French
Yeah, but the way Bush was saying this about the latino population was just unbelievable. It's almost like its a SNL skit. My dad and I started to laugh. I would hope that anyone who is moving to the US or Canada to become citizens they would intend on learning the language.
Im gonna vomit, that sounds like a heritage minute in the making Can we get off our high horses about this embracing multi-cultarism bullshit?
Well they sure as fuck don't, for the most part. Ask bloody kisses about english where she lives. Poor girl has had to have the pledge, assemblies, and classes in spanish for a long time now. It's a numbers game, and in Indiana, as with parts of california, the mexican population is on its way to being the majority.
too bad I cant read what teapot is saying ..... That's the problem with western society. We think we are the end all and be all. We're not. I can see it with the way people express their dumbass opinions on here.
