The last one I took was at college probably 12 years ago. I scored a 164.

 

Last year scored a 136, which I guess is pretty good for my age.

 

second time 131...does that count?

 

149 in first grade when i was accepted into a local gifted program, and 147 several years ago when i had a psychiatric evaluation . . i imagine it has since dropped a point or two . . as usually happens with age

i've ranged from 125 to 136. depending on the day, the test, whatever. i'm delightfully average and i love it.

 

last comprehensive (ie more than just pattersn) one i took i think i got lik 135 or so. but, it was one fo the internet ones and they ar ehighly subjective. i rocked on the patern one given in here, save for the last couple questions (too much staring at the same damn types of images), but im usually good with pattners n stuff

 

132 according to that test. I usually get around that answer give or take ten points.

I dont like IQ tests...too much maths and logic for me. Ive had so many different scores, the lowest being about 95 (!) and the highest at about 135

Which basically proves theyre a load of bullcrap

 

I dont belive in IQ tests. No one can tell who is smart and who is not. Just because you are a math genoius doesn`t mean you are a genious...if you know what im trying to say.

 

it seems to me that average IS about 130. i haven't really met anyone here, aside from a couple, that have wowed me with their brilliance. but there's some smarty-pants around.

I already knew that I was the best thing to happen to this earth since sliced bread though, so that didn't prove much.

 

This is exactly why I don't post on here that much any more. I'm sorry if you feel inadequate because of some stupid test.

If it makes you feel better I only scored a 28 on my ACTs.

Personally, I think that IQ tests only test one's capacity to learn. I know really intelligent people who never applied their intelligence in ways that others are benefitted by it. I know people that are book smart yet have ZERO social skills thus they come across as undeducated buffoons.

One shouldn't become so invested in quantifying one's self.

I think this proves unequivocally that the people in this forum are far smarter than average. The average IQ on this forum is 135. Be proud of yourselves!

The average IQ varies by country as well: 100 in the blue states, 98 in the red states, 101 in Europe, and 105 in Japan.

 

I dont care to converse intellectually most of the time. I have so much thinking in my head I use HF as a way to be silly
