heh this is hillarious. it's as if I was saying ya know all official agencies and our goverment say that a carrot is in fact a root vegtable and ya'lll would be telling me it grew on fucking trees just to argue.
Wow. You dumb motherfuckers really did forget who I am. Remember that whole thing about everyone taking me seriously? Well, don't do it, you retarded little ****.
see I think the primary reason why people view fish differently than say pork, chicken or beef is that for the most part, fish isn't so industrial. Yes you can buy farm raised trout, but for the most part, most of the fish that you consume was caught direct out of water in its natural environment - it wasn't hearded on a pasture or cooped up in a pen. Sure you can buy farm raised trout or salmon and also processed fish (processed fried fish filets are certainly a guilty pleasure of mine), but all chicken, pork or beef comes from a human controlled and altered environment. Even free range products aren't truly 'free' range - its still a human controlled environment. That being said, imagine a world without ranches, slaughter houses etc - lets just say McDonalds and Kentucky Fried chicken wouldn't exist.
i eat fast food once a year and i already know all this but the fact of the matter is. any ANIMAL FLESH is meat... i have no prob. with what people eat... im just debating on the facts. fish is still meat. carrots are not. it doesnt matter how the fish is raised.. it might be BETTER morally but it's still flesh. im not a veggie.. tried it and got really weak so im not preaching. but it's still meat.
You mean besides your extensive knowledge of meat and the difference between brain dead and brain damaged? Nothing, I guess. Seriously, did this place get dumber since I've been gone?
well, I do think that fish is technically meat - it is animal flesh after all. But I section it up into fish&seafood, poultry and meat (beef, pork, buffalo, mutton, etc). I generally don't eat the meat stuff because it just doesn't taste that good to me, with a few exceptions of course. Anywho... the whole theory about vegetarians being more healthy is really just based on the fact that SOME vegetarians are really concerned about their health, eat extremely healthy meals and exercise. That doesn't mean all. When I was veg (but ate fish from time to time) I sure wasn't very healthy about it. I know one of my old coworkers was worse... because our mall didn't really have anything for veg options, she'd eat chips for summer or lunch Not a healthy food choice for a meal.
you gotta have protein in your diet. besides if meat wasnt supposed to be eaten, it would make us sick every time we eat it.
actually the FDA used lab rats to come up with protein standards and rats per equated ratios eat 3-5times more protein or so
see meat comes from grass cow eats grass human can skip the whole expensive process of eating the cow that ate the grass by just eating the grass anyway they say cows have all these stomachs well we have juicers and food processors LoL
vegetarians act like eating animals is bad because theyre alive and have feelings. well what the hell are plants? they are every bit as much alive as animals. They grow, reproduce, consume, avoid danger, seek sunlite, repair themselves. Dont act like animals are so special just because they walk around.
When I was a veggie in the 60's/70's I was ok, I didn't do much in the way of physical labor, so I didn't need all that protien. When I had my son, after he started eating food, I had him on a veggie diet. He didn't do well and I had to start giving him some meat to eat. I started eating meat then too. I like veggies better and eat little meat. I eat even less meat in the summer months when the gardens come in fresh veggies are available and the fruit nuts, and berries are ripe. I usually make str-fry with mostly veggies. My hubby is strictly a meat and taters man. Each to their own I say. My daddy told me when we use to go out and camp in the wilderness, Watch the animals and see what they eat and eat that too. If the animals aren't eating eat the animals. It's survival, not to start an arguement but it was just something I feel. If a vegen or veggie were starving and their babies starving and the only thing that was around was a fluffy little bunny rabbit and a skillet, what would your choices be. Mine would be like, sorry Thumper but I got to feed my family.
