To the ultra-religious, "open minded" only means open to their particular religion. Everything else is spiritual darkness and error.

 

Lol I grew up in the bible belt. She was able to get away with it because no one's parents wanted their kids to learn evolution anyways. I don't really know why anyone would lie about receiving a bad education.

I did too. I know exactly what most of those fundamentalist churches teach - that the correct answers to all important questions are already known, and all you need to do is memorize what you're taught at church. Giving serious consideration to any other point of view can result in the eternal damnation of your soul.

Fortunately, I had a liberal science teacher the year that evolution was first taught back then (8th grade). He did a good job of explaining the evidence that the theory was based on.

Some of the local churches taught that scientific evidence was of no value, because God planted false evidence to mislead those who didn't base their lives on faith. Convenient for them, is it not?

 

It's not logic, it's your inability to edit yourself and formulate intelligent statements or inquiries.
You fail to grasp that while you internally may make connections significant to you, they do not translate very well to other people, so it comes across as gibberish.

Then couple that with what appears to be yet another person thinking they are being cool and deep by purposely being vague and making what are ultimately pointless observations and comments, but they somehow feel lend an air of esoteric mystery to their online persona, and you have another perfect storm that produces these Hip Forums serial gibberish troll posters.
