    i think i liked him cause he was funny looking. i'm gonna miss seeing him on the news. i think we should him.

    We watched a biography about him in my Global Issues class too...and he was a VERY handsome man when he was young. Amazingly so was the Ayatolla Khomeini (or however you spell it).

    Jesus Christ, finally tha man's dead. I don't think he waz a terrorist but JESUS, the man sucked in the whole "politics" and "tact" thing.

    Interesting how a lot of the News media are now suggesting his departure will allow breakthroughs for Peace in the region. The new player will be his widow, Suha Arafat. Not quite sure how she will fit in, but she has been in the more radical camp for some time. Being a woman minimizes her effectiveness to control events. The possibility of having access to hundreds of millions, if billions of dollars buys a lot of influence. Let the festivities begin.

    I was just thinking that. That old SNL sketch where they were talkingabout how you never see Arafat and Ringo in the same place together. LOL!
