I own all three Ninja Turtles games for nes. I bough the first one at the beginning of this summer.

Yep, I have all the contra games for nes as well as the one for snes. They're hard, but are probably the most fun games ever.

 

Those sidescroll games are always hard anyway. Definite classics though. I miss the simplistic awesomeness of NES/SNES games.

 

Me too. That's why I kept my nes from when I was a kid. Newer games just never felt as cool and as fun and simple. There's too much shit going on in games today, too many combos and buttons, and objectives and all the crap. I prefer Excitebike to anything today by far.

And yeah, after like Super NES I was like wtf is this shit? Am I playing a game or watching an interactive movie? Genesis was OK, but after that I folded.

Oh I still like today's games, but there's just something special about that old-school feel. ExciteBike was definitely the shizz. It was one of my favorites as a kid. The N64 remake was fun, but the original puts it to shame.
