Anyone play fortnite (Console)

i also picked up final fantasy online for PS2 when i went to bestbuy to get a new game once about 10yrs ago
got home 2 find out they wanted a $10.00 membership fee per month!!!

 

Isn't that a bummer?

I don't derive the same enjoyment if I have to pay through the nose. I can't afford that!

Let's play. i hope i would win you. Honestly, I also did not play for a long time and my skills are clearly not the same as before. Recently, I more often placed bets on Fortnight. I was fed up with playing, so I decided to try a new. Took notice of the game and some reviews and it seems Apex is a (the) serious competitor. Seems the game is pretty good. About the style and characters etc. that's subjective to taste as well of course.

 

You would have to 'grind' as fuck though to get everything (guns, perks, etc.) up to par with the long time regular players. But I did so too and didn't mind a lot. It takes awhile to get good at/with everything though.
Anyway, they added a new map: Geonosis during the Clone wars. Looks great, I finally played it a few rounds :-D But after not playing for awhile I noticed I suck at the intense battle action again too (despite having upgraded most stuff already)

 

Nobody is gonna stop playing fortnite to play apex legends, that's a fact.

 

It's really annoying how often Fortnite updates. As a casual player who might occasionally play on any of 3 different PCs...

I have to wait for updates to install nearly every time I go to play this damn game!!!

I guess I'll play some Phone Destroyer while I wait, AHHHHHH FUCK, it's updating too!

Yeah, that's annoying for less frequent players. I hope some of the updates bring at least some worthy improvements!

That's curious. I know for a fact too that a certain amount of Fortnite players play both or have switched. It's quite a bold statement anyway, maybe its not supposed to be taken literally

I'm lovin' Team Rumble mode. This is a great mode for racking up some kills, and not getting sent back to the lobby every time you die.

Apex Legends has better graphics but Fortnite has... well... a certain charm I can't quite put into words.

Nice of Fortnite to take a huge steaming dump on a Canadian holiday.

The kids got to stare at a black swirling F'N ASS their wHOLE day off.
