I personally love the effects of weed, but due to negative after effects it gives me (anxiety/social anxiety/mind feeling out of place/sporadic thoughts), i've decided it's best to quit.

So now I just stick to psychs every once in a while.

Magical mystery tourguide and others: perhaps you should smoking different strains, (perhaps a sativa)find you like, and grow it. Its free and all you will be able to find one that does what you want it to(doesnt make you paranoid, more active)

I don't know about anyone else but when i toke, it affects me WAY differently than my friends. I can produce theories and philosophical thoughts much better, I feel like i could run a mile...the only thing the same is the munchies.

    Maybe It's because i go into it like it's a psychedelic/spiritual experience...anyone know?

Some people's minds just don't react well to it.

I used to smoke a lot of weed, but I stopped because I didn't like how tired it made me.

I'm down for anything except weed.

i used to be a pot head but i really only smoke about once or twice a week and its only because someone might offer to smoke me out and i got nothing else to do. but i still love tripping. i love tabs, mushies, 2c-i, salvia, opiates, benzos, all that shit more than weed. only drug i like less than weed is maybe ambien and dxm. alcohol for me is on the same level as weed, but i find alcohol a bit more fun. i actually get social and want to talk to people. bud makes me just sit all quiet.

I don't as a rule smoke weed. I much prefer a psychedelic experience. But that doesn't mean you should bogart a joint if you're around me. I'll take a drag or two.

That said I do not drink any alcohol anymore. Been like years since I have had a drink. I didn't stop because I was an alcholic, just the opposite -- realized I didn't like it so why am I forcing myself?

You shouldn't start smoking pot till your brain fully develops (age 20)!

Of course, I tripped for the first time when I was 15 and I'm just about to finish my masters degree so I did alright.

I never smoked pot, or drank alcohol. I sort of skipped over them into using opiates pretty regularly, then experimenting with everything else.

Opiates are by far the best, but you can't use them every day. =(

fuck that. the high isn't even that good unless you do a lot, and they are the most addictive. not that great for your body either. pot and psychedelics are far more valuable than opiates.

Opiates in general have no body toxicity unless taken in OD levels.

Oh well, to each his own. More opis for me. Well not really, but damn I wish that's what it meant.

opiates just have such a bad stigma.....yea they are addictive, but speed, and coke, which are more "socially acceptable" since they are party drugs, are much much worse on your body than opium or heroin.

In my opinion all of those drugs are garbage. No good comes from them

    Psychs are where it's at.

No good comes from them, for YOU. Like you said, that's your opinion. Weed has brought me nothing but happiness:sifone:

Weed can be quite psychedelic, afterall. It's the perfect balance of all drug-effect classifications:sifone:

I was talking about opiates, downers and uppers. (meth, coke, heroin, pills, etc)

Weed is straight. It just doesn't react to well with me anymore.

Oh I gotcha. Hell, even those other drugs can be good, if people use them right. Some drugs shouldn't be used by certain people though, because we all have different preferences. Different tokes for different folks, as I always say:sifone:
