anyone know some good movies to trip on?

I think the movie Hero watch too, I dont understand why watch a movie while tripping, but that one is a visual delight, so maybe it could be fun.

Outdoors is always extremely mood stimulating taking the trip to a euphoric journey and I always feel like an explorer hah very one with everything. Movies/TV is something that takes away from visuals but gives me a cynical for lack of better terms (maybe stimulated as its not rly mean but objective? ) thought pattern and extremely funny/ mind fuck up the ass as I tend to think of modern morals and normaties This is why i like cartoons or the history channel. movies are to long for most trips and mi mind splits them into various short stories or the plots in my head are very far from what they actually are when I watch the movie at a latter point in time. which is also enjoyable bringing me to my main point of TRIPPING IS AMAZING and most anything is good while tripping I tend to dislike the stereotypical trip movies as they lessen the experience and are just stupid while tripping. I always find weird things or things I would never find myself doing EXTREMELY enjoyable and producing the higher quality trips.


you shouldnt have to ask yourself what to do when tripping or you havnt done enough. atleast for me the mindfuck/temporary insanity for lack of better words again, is so flowing and OOOOOO im rambling so I bid you farewell

 

I retract mi no movie listed comment with the basis that a skanner darkley and waking life are the shit! there is also a movie similar to a waking life with the same pixelation and short story philosophical skits made in I believe the 80's I dont remember the title anyone know what im taking about?

 

It's weird, for all the gorgeous colors that Terry Gilliam put into Fear and Loathing, they seemed rather drab, almost 70s-esque when I watched that movie high.

But it was still sick. ^_^

i watched waynes' world on saterday while on shrooms...shit's hilarious!

 

yes .... take all the movies from the dvd cases... now you can use CD's also... scatter them all over the floor.... reflective side up... and just watch that... helps if you got a laser pointer in your hand... you can point the laser directly at stuff on the floor and watch the movies in your head.....

The Original Batman movie was amasing. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time, its ridiculously over the top and hilarious. I really reccomend it.

 

DO NOT WATCH the aqua teen movie.

I am fairly new to the phsycadelic scene... But here is what I have gathered as some of the best movies to trip on...

The best of the best! Hands down!

-Fear and Loathing
-Yellow Submarine: The Beatles

Movies I have heard are great a LOT!
-Walking Life
-Fantasia
-The Wall: Pink Floyd
-The Greatful Dead Movie
-2001: A Space Odysee
-Baraka

My super-sleepers! (please go watch and give feedback!)
-Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny (The opening scenes will let you know the movie is ment for tripping! Its Jack Black at his best, rocking out to a halarious soundtrack that he performs masterfully!)
-Mr Magoriums Wonder Imporium (Its like if Willy Wonka owned a toy store instead of a Chocolate Factory, but with more colors and tripper effects! It does get a little sappy at the end though, lol)
-Scanner Darkley (Just go look at some movie captures. The visual effects on real people are awesome, the plot line is completely confusing, and they even throw in a few mind fucks both visually and mentally to keep it all exciting!)

But like many have said... Beyond pretty colors, comedy, and wierd story lines to stimunlate your eyes, humor, and mind... Its all really movie preference. Everything seems to be best if its your first time viewing it, which is ESPECIALLY true with REAL LIFE and NATURE!!!

But again, I really recommend those three sleepers!

 

yikes, dont watch the wall, that movie is practically a bad trip in itself. dont get me wrong, its a good movie, but not while your that vulnerable. watch hero, and observe the color symbolism, if you can catch it.
