Come live with me! The unplugged television will collect dust in the corner and we can keep the radio on your favorite station any time you want.
yeah! we need a 24 hour a day snookie channel. I don't watch it but hear about it on kimmel[is there anywhere this girl won't go pee?]
I only watch TV shows I like online without the commercials. This isn't something I do often either. I have no big interest in television.
I sold my tv last month and don't miss it one bit.It was like a monster in the corner of the room. You could never tell what crap it was gonna throw at you next.My room is a calmer and more peaceful place without it.Good riddance.
Can't say for sure. It was initially a move protesting a series of rate increases after they did away with over the air analog television- a move sold as the government mandating improved signal or something along those lines when it was a means of turning previously free programming into a brand new commodity that cable companies could start charging a subscription fee for... and as well it stimulated a market for the digital converter boxes from the last of the no-cable holdouts. I don't know if the sequence of events in EU would have presented such an opportunity. The manner by which television programming and advertising is used to manage and manipulate large numbers of people is on one hand an alarming bit of insidiousness bit of ongoing brainwash that conditions people to imprison themselves in an antisocial and economic cell but on the other hand I can't help but admire the sheer genius of it all. It gets people to assist in the destruction of their freedoms and to cede their voice to authorities who pretend they are there to protect... and they ask for more. It's as destructive as the worst drug addiction.
I don't really watch a whole lot of TV but there's exceptions though. I like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Breaking Bad, Shameless and Dexter. That's really it. and hell, I've only seen Breaking Bad on Netflix. Most of my favorite shows have either been cancelled or went downhill. I just can't stomach the crap that passes as entertainment these days. I'd rather stab my eyes out with an icepick than watch a minute of Teen Mom's or Jersey Shore or whatever the hell.
I do enjoy the odd TV show, but finding a well written program than doesn't seem like a poorly scripted commercial advertising a slew of mainstream products, well, that's a challenge. However, once you've completed the challenge and have found a good show, you're set... For about two seasons, most series go downhill after that. At least this has been my experience.
Television is a brainwashing device the government uses . As kids we are taught this and that by these subliminal cartoons. Then shows come on the American people tune in and try to be like these people they see on tv. Only thing i watch Is Monday night raw, only 2 hours a week of tv is good enough for me
