That's because you're talking about codeine syrup. I was talking about Tussionex(hydrocodone polistirex and chlorpheniramine polistirex).

 

Man I can't imagine getting dope sick from promethazine/codeine syrup lol.
And a deuce is a pretty low dose IMO.

It is pretty awful. Being dope sick sucks in general. I definitely drank a lot more than a deuce lol. It was a few years ago so I don't really remember how much. I think I filled the sprite bottle about half way with syrup. I had intended on sharing it with my friend, but he wasn't really drinking on it that much. I ended up downing far too much far too quickly.

 

I like tussionex and hydromet over any other syrup. Oh and of course hydrocodone/promethazine. Codeine, even with promethazine, is still pretty weak. I actually prefer my syrups over OC... They are just so much more sedating and pleasurable.

 

Agreed. I VERY MUCH prefer Tussionex to oxy. 120ml of Tussionex gave me the most amazing opiate experience I have ever had.

 

Most people you find in this forum aren't going to really care for Codeine...it's possibly the weakest opiate that you can get, and you can even get it OTC in some countries.

So no, purple drank does nothing for someone who has already graduated to Oxycodone and such, sorry.

If you're as smart as you seem to think you are you should know it converts to morphine in your bloodstream.
When you take enough codeine you will get high off it, even with an opiate tolerance, sorry.
And I have a bunch of oxycodone right now, and have been using it for a good while off and on now.
You aren't impressing anybody bub. Leave again.

And no, you will NOT get high off of Codeine if you have even a half-ass tolerance...

Not to mention, the bio-availability of Morphine is fucking insanely low when taken orally, which is why most people choose to plug or inject it.

Hopefully somebody will help deal with this before I have to waste 20 minutes explaining fucking tolerance, ROA, and bio-availability to this kid?

 

Syrup used to be my thing, as it's the only thing I can successfully get from a doctor (just a little "cough, cough" and there you have it!) I absolutely HATE the antihistamines in most cough syrups, especially promethazine, as they make me tired, depressed and fat. I can literally eat a ton of sweets on them, which reminds me of my days on tricyclic antidepressants. Blah.

The best is the hydrocodone/chlorpheniramine/phenylephrine combo...Histussin HC I think it's called. Pretty sweet.

 

Anyone have advice for getting leaned prescribed? Never tried before always just bought it off people but cant be doin that anymore.

im a little confused about something.... other than the long duration due to being time release, what again is so great about tussionex? does the chlorpheniramine potentiate the hydro or something?

it would be nice to have a 20 hour buzz going on.. but its still just hydro.. or am i missing something here?

It's still just hydro. With no tolerance it'll get ya good, but yeah, you're right oxy (etc.) is better IMO.
Promethazine is supposed to potentiate opiates, but I never noticed much, so even if there is potentiation I can't see it being anything too significant to the regular opiate user.

i gotcha.. new one for me on the Promethazine being a potentiator, i was aware of other common ones, going to have to look into Promethazine, is it even otc?

not saying i don't enjoy hydro, but yeah oxy is definitely my fav as well. maybe i'l drop some 80s in a bottle of grenadine and make my own brand of tussionex

 

Does anyone know if they make this syrup with a potent opiate? I'd not trying to act like a hardass or dicksize, but I'm a chronic pain patient and codeine or hydrocodone would be useless to me. It would be great if they made it with hydromorphone or oxymorphone, even morphine would be great. Since I don't like to drink alcohol, this would be a nice social thing to sip and buzz on over the night while my friends are drinking booze.
